- A complete overview of the LS. Next month will mark 10 years of ownership, and I can say this has been a really good first car to drive and to learn how to work on cars in general.

Them jaguar rim’s actually looks better on the LS than the Jaguar👌😏
I've always loved the LS.....
Owning one cured me of that.
Good video though. They look good in white.
Thanks man. This has definitely help me become more mechanically inclined over the years
Heres an Old Lincoln LS
Trick ,Most people don’t Know..
If you hold the key fob and hold down the blue for 5 seconds the windows and sunroof will all Open… to put it back up you have to put the key in the door and turn to the right for a few seconds..
THOSE RIMS OMFG THEY LOOK SO PERFECT ON IT. NICE CHOICE.
that car is so damn clean bro
I love when ppl fix up cars that are not popular
Great video bro. Learned a lot for my LS
Great stuff like your break down what you did on your Lincoln LS i got a 2006 Lincoln LS snd i had to put some work in to it I love the car it's as some problems especially the cooling system thank you for this video 💯
Man this is dope I like what you did with it 👍
Great looking car and an excellent review.
Love this car! I’m a fan.
W video and for keeping it 💯
Awesome video man. I just picked up an 03 v8 from my brother with only 71k miles. I'm used to working on Chevy trucks but honestly this thing has been just as easy to work on so far. I expected far worse for it basically being a Jaguar haha
Just picked up an 02 160k miles but paid 900.
@@bangbang-ko2gi how’s that going for you ? What did you need to replace with those miles ?
Thank you for buying an American car. Keeps our money here! Its beautiful!
Well… technically has a lot of parts from England which is from a jaguar
My dream car
God bro it's look so dope and chunky💪🏼💯
Yesss finally ❤❤❤❤❤
Very nice man I’m buying an 88k mile ls tuesday!
Might be the cleanest first gen out there bro
I miss mine. Yours is slick Bro. Had a 01 with 164k miles on it and traded it in.
Hot Rod Lincoln🔥🔥🔥
Good looking car...
I just bought one, I love it. The only things are the back left passenger seat belt doesn’t work and it’s got some dings
hows she on gas? debating on buying one myself
U posted this 2 moths ago, has it had any problems since?
@@cyprexx1946 sorry for the late reply, but to answer your question it’s been great.
@@j_toosleepy it’s not great I won’t lie… I get in between 12 and 16 mpg
The degas reservoir i replace it with an aluminum one i bought off of ebay and haven’t replaced so far in 2 years as with the oem every year. 👍🏽
Dude u must get pulled over every day with that tint especially the front windshield 😬 PS: nice ride though 🔥✌️
Learned so much bout my Lincoln in the short time I’ve had it. Did you know you have two power steering pumps on these rigs!?! Hopefully you can tell which one goes out when it does, otherwise big price tag lol
Sick rig tho, sweet looking. Hoping to make mine just as cool as yours! Good job bro!
Get the front lower balljoints replaced as soon as possible, I had one of mine just literally break in half while driving, luckily I was just making a turn in a parking lot at very slow speeds. The harders part of the job was pressing out the old ball joint... I read somewhere that this is a common flaw with this car...
Agreed!
Im doing mine next the whole controls arms and everything once I get the d2 coil overs on my 2006
Dude I’m surprised you didn’t wash your whip for video
It’s like a BMW but reliable
Do you recommend this as a first car because I’ve been looking at them because I really like the way they look but I’m not 100% because I see a lot of mixed opinions
This is my first car. It has its issues but so does any 20 year old car. I’d say go for it
Do you still got this?
what leds do u have under the dash/seats n how much did it cost
Can’t remember exactly, but they were just a cheap $20 kit I got on Amazon
sorry if i missed it,,, what was the est mileage at time of all those repairs?
All good man. I can’t really remember. I bought the car at 103k and I have 194k now so in between those miles. I know it’s a big range but I think there’s a lot of factors from the car’s condition, location, how it’s been driven, etc
The comfort you have with your keys in there windows up gives me anxiety
Lincoln is cool, what car are the wheels from? 🤠💯
Jaguar XF I believe? Not 100% sure
Hey buddy was going to the comments you said you had D2 racing coilovers what kind of racing coilovers if u don't mind
😂 D2 😂
Does your LED set up able to dim the interior lights?
@@chrisspringer7788 unfortunately not
@iAlan7 right on, figured I'd ask. I know if you change a resistor behind the dash on the circuit board it can be done. I got 3 ls 😆
It would look really good with 5 spoke white wheels. Will be able to see the calipers better.
White wheels rarely look good. My subjective opinion
@@johngarrett9310 on that white car it would be a stunner.
Ehh not really a fan of white on white. However, 5 spokes would be cool!
So can a v8 swap the one with the v6 I have one coming soon but it's a v6 2002 same body style tho I wanna black mine out but it's silver
I’m sure you could but these cars are so cheap, might as well buy the V8 instead of sinking all of the money into the V6
@Alan already payed the guy 800 he wants a grand for it I'm gonna do a video on it soon THANK YOU FOR Reply bro💪🏼💯 he let me do payments I was Homless a year ago so I had to do it this way ruff timez moms in a wheelchair ect
Everything is possible, atleast the engine mounts appeart to be on the same spot, however it is a BIG job. The bellhousing on the 6cyl transmision is different than the one on the 8cyl. So you will need both engine and trans. Likely also gonna need a new diff as they use different gear ratios depending on the engine, might not be needed I haven't really checked. You'll also need ECU and wiring harness, essentially you need a whole crashed ls donor car💀. Even though the actual work itself is not too hard I wouldnt do all that. Way to much work for little gain. Its still not gonna be a "quick car" even with the 03+ v8.
You're better off with the v6, its a much better platform if you want to sink some money into it. The possibilities are literally endless, there are no "real performance upgrades" for the v8 at all literally. With the v6 you have everything you can think of, but it gets expensive pretty quick. Everything you can think of is available, forged internals, stronger valvetrain, individual throtlebodies, Headers ( this are not plug and play and last time I checked the company wanted $800 plus shipping from the UK, nothing is cheap, and that won't even be plug and play as its not explicitly meant for the LS but it'll still bolt up to the heads fine and you'll just need a shop to connect it to the rest of the exhuast, but like I said at that price you're better off buying the flange for about $50 someone still sells it online and make custom headers, Everything else is also mad expensive, pretty sure itv's were like 2k and you will also need custom ecu to run that, clutch is also available and adapter plate to bolt up to stock mx5 trans... For the price of every single mod I've listed all said and done you could very well have bought a 911 gt3rs instead...
@@Natalie-vv9jl thank u for your words and info
@@Spacecruizer203there is a guy on UA-cam that sells custom engine mounts it's to put a chevy Ls v8 Into these
Which engine has more problems v6 or v8 ?
V8
V8
can you make me some headlights lol
Name of rims ???
Not trying to be rude, but did you watch the entire video? lol. They are Jaguar Caravela wheels. I spoke about them around 3:40 in the video
Bro what is this it looks good
Thanks man. The name of the car is in the title lol it’s a Lincoln LS
It clearly shows and say what it is in the FN title 🤷♂️😭🙄 PS: read 🤦♂️
Sell me it bro
