    It took 2 years and 2 months to monetize my channel. There were times I thought about quitting, but I always knew in the back of my head that this is a marathon and not a sprint. Every video is a new learning experience. My knuckle appeared consistently in what turned out to be my most viewed video to date which unlocked UA-cam Adsense monetizing the channel. Don't give up but more importantly enjoy the process.

    sometimes I question whether it's something I'm doing wrong that's causing me not to see the results I want to see, but really good to know that I need to pace myself for that 3-year journey. appreciate the clarity, Ed. Back to my long grass home

    This is absolutely genius! This is a summary of hundreds of other UA-cams on this same subject, but presented in a 1 -2-3-4 way! The viewer finds themselves in the definitions or better still....claims that they aren't a match to any of the four presented.
    I'm telling you, I love this video more than any educational marketing video I've seen this year! Super job...absolute standing ovation ! You reinvented the wheel!

    I’m a proud fawn! 😂 I’m in the second year of my 3 year newbie period and really struggling to nail my audience…
    I make writing content for comic creators since most comic artists struggle with story writing, but my best performing videos are all over the place! Trying to work on committing to serve one kind of audience with a consistent style of content is hard when one 60k video is 50% of my subscriber base and it’s something I have NO interest in continuing.

    Ed, I have a question which I hope you will see and let me know your thoughts. I’ve started my 4th channel about 3 weeks ago and after first five days the video views started to skyrocket - I’m talking 100K views per day for about 1 week. Next it all came down very quickly - I’ve checked all the videos and no signs that the AVD or CTR or Like/dislike ratio or anything else would have noticeable changed. Thus I’m just wondering if there is maybe a limit in impressions at the beginning for new channels and maybe in couple of days my views start to increase again? Any thoughts? Oh and I’m posting 1 video per day - during this time when everything was skyrocketing within first 24 hours my videos got around 20K views and now the latest ones getting less than 300 🤦‍♂️ however clearly people still like those as getting good amount of likes and CTR and AVD is high 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Ed, I'm a bit of a Gazelle. However I have the experience and expertise in a specific area and want to create online products for people in that niche.
    I want to use UA-cam to share value, gain trust and promote said products.
    I started a hobby UA-cam channel (this account DeuceMania) for the purpose of learning how to edit.
    I accidentally gained over 5000 subscribers in 2 months 😮 - causing the hobby channel to become a distraction.
    Now back to the focus. All I have for my business idea is a domain name, a UA-cam channel started with no uploads yet, a little bit of simple branding, colors and name. What I need is to create videos and gather a following as well as create my digital products.
    Do I focus on the following first or the products first given the fact that I have neither?
    Furthermore, should I not turn my back on the seemingly simple 5,000 subscribers and try to double down in that hobby niche?

    • @deucemaniac
      @deucemaniac 6 місяців тому

      To add to this, the business idea is in the technical realm of computer science.
