Could you make a similar one about what to do in the Tesla itself so when you sell the car you would not transfer any personal data (previously used address history, home and work addresses, personal settings, etc.) to a new owner as well as what a new owner should check after buying (eg. I believe the factory reset still won't remove the old owner's phone key from the car)?

this is good, but it's missing a few key things that are confusing.
1) you didn't mention WHEN in the process you click the "factory reset" on the car's dash... do you do this BEFORE removing it from seller's account, or after?
2) Will the backup keycards i'm giving to the new owner still work to unlock and drive, or did those go away with either Factory Reset process or "Remove Product" process? If they won't work anymore, how does new owner drive away with the car if they don't yet have it in their account?

Why is it that I always learn new things here, and most of the times it's things you didn't even want to talk about? I just learned that my wall connector can now be managed from the app... Hadn't realized that so far... (It's a bit unfortunate that you can't set all the settings via the app, but hey, it's a start at least...)
Do upgrades such as acceleration boost and FSD transfer to the new owner or would they be reset?

What if you want to buy another Tesla and you don’t want to give up your autopilot? Do you have to buy your new Tesla and transfer the autopilot before you transfer your old Tesla?
The DMV does not charge the seller of a vehicle to transfer ownership. And isn't Individual and Third Party the same thing? Because you are either selling your car to a third party (individual) or a dealership.
I made an accident when i ordered my new Model 3 highland. I have now 2 email adresses and 2 account, both in my name. 1 for my old 2021 model 3 and 1 for 2024 model 3 If i want to access one of the cars now, i have to log out and in. Can i remove my old car and transfer it to the new email account, even though my name is on both accounts?
I would like buy a Tesla from a non Tesla dealership. This dealership is hours away from my home. I would like to know what that would entail to provide a seamless transfer of ownership.

That's why they ask you to input the email twice. Even if you should type in the wrong email twice then the owner of that email would have to have a tesla account. If they should have an account then I'm not quite sure what you would have to do at that point.It's an easy process but it's also important all of the information you have is correct.
what about the key cards. are they linked to the app or just teh vehicle. could someone say they dont have any cards and keep them and access the car?
You will need to delete them from the car and then link them back to the car with your phone.
It's come a long way since I sold my Tesla 5 years ago! Good to know when I eventually sell my 3
