The muffin Idea came from the episode where apple jack over works herself and makes muffins with pinkie well dazed and confused, derpy is seen in the background as the muffins are being served saying "Muffffins~" leading everyone from there on to make her crazy for muffins.

I always thought it was weird that they made luna’s skin so light. like everyone else was allowed to be their normal pony colour, but not luna..? one of the only dark coat ponies? it’s giving white washing..
Apparently all ponies were slightly lighter in their Equestria girls designs, but I agree it looks off, probably some colors weren't a _unified value_ lighter and the dark coat ponies ended up being whitewashed (K I looked back and her skin looked WAY lighter than I remembered, sorry)
In a respectful way, her designs are so cute but the legs are quite squashed. In every ‘redesign’ video I see of mlp, people talk about the proportions of Equestrian girls, but their own redesign proportions don’t make sense either. Ponies don’t look the way they look in the cartoon either.. Maybe I’m being salty or judgemental but I just don’t like the leg proportions compared to the rest of the body. Their feet are where their ankles should be beginning.

I don't know why this thought came back to my mind while watching this, but I really wish that in Rainbow Rocks we got to see each girl's musical attack, as we only got to see the individual attacks of three of the six/seven. You could even have combined attacks like Rainbow Dash and Applejack combining their powers to create the zap apples from the original show. You could launch them, hit the enemy and have the apple break and become goop, and then have that goop give an electric shock to whoever it landed on. That would've been so cool!
Imo they should of been seniors or honor roll students in the movies They would be much more marketable and it would be possible for Twilight to achieve that position, aka become a princess

I think the reason they added love interests is because in universe, these characters are just normal teens before all of the magic stuff Of course they're gonna be thinking about love, or wanting to date someone, it's just something that the majority of teenagers do. Not to say adults don't do it either, but you see it portrayed more in media with teens having crushes, whereas with adults ot focuses more on the building of a romantic relationship through dates and a lot less visibly awkward stumbling around each other Also, when they are ponies, the Mane 6 are young adults, with their own businesses and jobs. They aren't focused on a romantic relationship, they're focused on maintaining their livelihood and friendships, the whole point of the series. I know it's probably not what was going through the heads of the creators when they made the movies and added love interests, honestly it was probably something to do with a show having more time to spread it out whereas in a movie you just kinda find a place to shove it in there, done well or not, but I like to think about it this way in universe with the characters :)

dude when you put your Flash design next to your Twilight, for some reason they reminded me of Veronica and JD from Heathers. It might be Flash's fingerless gloves/edgy feel and the fact that Twilight's outfit looks like a school uniform. idk but I still really like them :)
