Don't have a cricut, but I think these thrift flips can still be reimagined through knitting and embroidering. I've got to try it out!!
Nice tip! I didn’t know that worked. I have used spray adhesive in the past and that was wonderful.
Don't have a cricut either but have definitely embroidered letters on my clothes before. Worked wonderfully and people have asked where I got it like this not believing that I did it myself.

Advice for sewing little pieces onto a different layer of fabric with a sewing machine: just use a glue stick first. It will wash off, but you'll have everything straight and still while you sew.

Just a tip, use iron on backing before cutting, then iron to shirt and sew. Every thing will stay in place. Easy, peasy. Love all these projects. Make me want that new cricut!!!!!!👏👏👏

Could you give us an update on the iron on printed shirt? I've tried these sheets before but unfortunately they never lasted more than 2-3 washes without starting to peel off. Would love to see if these stay on. Does the Vinyl iron on last longer?
You could try hand washing
Ooo…you need some quilters spray adhesive! It’s wonderful for appliqué and other things. So handy!

That machine is just SO cool!! I really want one now! And it can cut fabric too?? But how do you get the fabric to stay in place while it is cutting? That part I don't get... But wow one could make fantastic stuff with it!
cricuts come with a sticky mat! it’s like a multi-use adhesive surface, which is how the paper stays in place when being cut, and it looks like from the video that fabric stuck just as well as paper.

Like the last shirt best. Ever think about adding a design to the front and back? You should leave your needle down when you pivot the fabric. You could even freehand your stitching. Disable or lower your feed dogs, use a quilting foot and you can stitch in any direction. I can see waves and swirls in your design. You could even use different colored thread. What cha think?

😭 I have been sewing for years so it does take time! Trust me, I have TONS of failed thrift flips 😂 I even fail to this day. I believe in you!!

Omg def going to do the last designs. I don‘t have a cricuit, but I think that‘s also easily managable by printing out the design on paper, cutting it out and then tracing it on the fabric and cutting that out. A tiny extra step, but I‘m def going to try that!
I like the patchwork idea so much!
I keep being stuck in this circle of buying fun shirts, not liking them anymore after 2-3 years, then buying basics so I'll like them longer, then getting bored of the basics and diying them into a fun trend I love, then not liking them anymore after a couple years because the trend has passed and I'm over it but the basic shirts aren't basic anymore. But with the patchwork-style you can just take out the seams and it's basic again or you can put a new design on!
