Honey, keep the shoes and the second skin top, sell/auction them later when you're tired of them! They look so you - esp the shoes, I know your struggles finding shoes that fit - I think most of us would rather you enjoy them and post fits w them, and then one of us can get them later on.
Such a good response instead of people criticizing her because she loved alot of pieces herself. Shes allowed to express that and I feel the same as you she can enjoy them and share later

Idk I mean it's obviously pricier than a lot there that thrift store wasn't that cheap when you think of it. eg the disney t-shirt that wasn't even a disney original and was 9.99.A branded jacket selling for 4 times the value of a t-shirt is a normal value relation.

What a great a idea for a video but 95% of all those clothes only fit sizes Small and extra Small. Disappointing we could have any form of inclusivity besides an oversize jacket and a skirt that was a tad too big on her.
I tried my best to be inclusive to everyone with inclusive items like purses and none clothing items such as shoes in the auction. There are more inclusive items I have thrifted since filming this video and are listed in the auction. I also mentioned at the end of the video that there are more items in the auction that I didn’t show.
@@JennaPhipps I hear you and see that you tried! But this is a chance to learn and grow a little bit. Your link isn't working so I can't go look at your auction, but it's worth considering how it would feel to only be to shop accessories. That's not inclusivity, that's the standard at straight sized stores. There was a chance for you to shop for fashion in the plus sized sections and if you could find anything "cool" reflect on how hard it is to actually NEED to shop there, for actual clothes, not trendy "oversized" things. Because it's not "oversized," it's my size. You're a great creator, but this was a place to look at your privilege and you kind of missed it.
Can’t we just enjoy Jenna for who she is? I’m 67 years old and love to watch her and never expected her to include things that I like or fit me in her auction. It’s for fun! Not everybody needs to win!

@@joanneswinehart4976 absolutely! But when asked about being inclusive and replying "I got purses" isn't great. Jenna is great and has great content, but criticism can also be valid. The two things aren't mutually exclusive. 🤷♀️

lol I was at the second value village you went to just yesterday! I did find this great y2k skirt, it was kinda like the secondskin material with leopard print and flowers! It will be super cute with a black top and boots for fall! also got this amazing plaid wool scarf from Eddie Bauer (so random). But it was Mayhem in there! You are right about that!

She tried her best, what you find at thrift stores is super selective and there’s not always a massive variety in sizes for great pieces like in normal stores. Surely it would have been far more insulting if she’d picked up random ugly or bad quality items for larger sizes?

University and schools typical go back 1st/2nd week of September in Canada

I’m in the US and went back Sept 7th. Some schools start back after Labor Day.
