Great instructional video, as always. A couple of questions, please. Does the use of several modules affect the number of CSS and JavaScript? I thought there was something to adjust in Themify settings, but don’t know exactly what to adjust. Secondly, you mentioned about using (your) Themify Ultra and updating it, if necessary. Can you please explain more about this area? Thank you.

I absolutely love your videos and it has inspired me to start my own website. Problem is, The "about us", "blog", "home" and other pages at the top are not displaying despite having followed the tutorial to a tee :(
Hi Hogan, I have followed your tutorials to build my website. the only issue i have with the new themify builder is that the alignment of the button section is missing. is there a way i can align the button to the center? I only have them to the left at now and cant center or right align.

What a great tutorial! Thank you! I wanted to ask how you would recommend we build the site without doing it live on the internet (as in, keep publishing all the changes as we build them). It could take many weeks for beginners to do this -- or another use case is when you're building several of these. I don't want to publish an unfinished site. Can you give some pointers on how to tackle this situation? Thank you!
You can always build the website locally and then migrate it to a live site with your desired domain. That's what I usually do.

Hi there, please nagivate to themify settings > Default layouts > Default single post layouts > Post date > that's where you can chane to normal inline display for the date - see screenshot: share.zight.com/X6uX7lLG Hope that helps!
@HoganChua I am new to wordpress. I have and am learning to build with Themify Ultra, folllowing this and other videos by you. I am trying to put an svg generated animated gradient in the background of the hero section and lay a webp image on top with a transparent background. To do this requires two simple pieces of code, 1 html and 1 css. I have writtten them both and tesed in a browser and it works as it should. The webp displays properly in the theme and there is a box that allows webp use. I can see where I can add the additional .css code in custom css.
I can't yet see where I might add the html, which consits of a viewbox instruction and parent/child . Is there a way I can do this please or do I have to create a child theme for it please?
Also, if a child theme is the way forward, do I then have to create a child theme for the whole site I am building please on the back of your excellent video's? Thank you.

@@HoganChua yes. I built the first website using themify on a local host(local by flywheel). Then for practice sake, I proceeded to build the second website using the same host but I couldn't switch on the builder on the second website.

Can you change the permalink setting on an existing website? I am in early learning and have done quite a bit on my site, but it still isn’t there yet. I try to find learning every day and then work n the site itself. Just discovered your tutorials and am excited, but am not going to go from scratch on the site I’ve started (2xs). It is a community event site and I have it open for people to watch the build, they get to see the work, and learn about the event (a community builder happening in October). Thank you :)
Yes you should be able to change it without any issues. If your site is old and those URLs are ranking on Google, you may want to do a redirect for old URLs to the new updated permalink URLs - using a WordPress plugin like wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/ (or just type in "redirect" in the plugins section, you should see a few good ones) - so when people click onto it, it will redirect to the new URLs/pages.

Not 100% sure what you mean by this. But By default they dont come with the options to add captions, however you can add the "alt text" which is for search engines.

Excellent video! I've been meticulously following each section of your tutorial. However, I'm encountering a persistent issue. After installing the themes, I'm facing an 'error 404' related to the social media links. According to the instructions, I should add a new page and link the social media to it to resolve this error. Despite doing this, the error persists, suggesting a lack of Wi-Fi connection, although my Wi-Fi is definitely connected. Could you offer any advice on how to fix this?
Did you get your social media profile URL? Just paste it in. I think it should be okay? Or please screenshot of where you are adding it in and send to support@hoganchua.com
