GTI TCR Muffler Sound Clips with a Downpipe (Ultimate Racing) (2018 VW GTI)

A few more clips of this exhaust setup. Interestingly I don't get the same traction "farts" on Unitronic Stage 2, but did on the JB4 (installed in this video). Also note that the area where it was filmed is very echo-y.

How do you like this setup? Is there any drone at speed? Would you consider this a loud setup or pretty tame since it's a resinated downpipe?

I took it off. This is a tame setup with some throat. I got drone cruising at 130kph though, and ended out getting rid Of the TCR muffler and ultimate racing pipe in favour of the stock muffler with a Catless trackslag pipe. Less drone with the catless bigger pipe.

@@VWTalk Wow so a catted resonated dp with the TCR muffler is still louder/more drone than a catless pipe. Never would have though. Looks like I'll have to sell my clubsport s muffler if I wanna do stage 2

Do you think with the 400 cell resonator would have made a difference?

@@danny02463 I had an intimate racing pipe with a resonator so I was running two resonators at the time. I think one of the vibrants everyone uses would probably be a good choice

Any scan tool w the capability, obd11 is the cheapest way for simple things like that but I have a Ross tech VCDS cable now. They’re all about the same though VCDS is a bit more expensive
