Great video! I tried it out and put my USB mic on a cheap boom arm and bumped up the base and lowered the treble a bit. It is already starting to sound better.
Great tutorial. I have a Mac, so I’m SOL when it comes to those Reaper plugins. Guess I’ll just have to use the Reaper DAW itself. Or I can buy a Windows PC? Excuses to fuel my gear acquisition addiction. 😂
@@GamerHeavenOfficial Mic sounds way better now too - I followed a different guide before that ended up using 5 reaper plugins, I appreciate the simplicity and explanation of the tuning. Cheers!
Loved the video! I would have added noise suppressor from the clicking of keyboard.... And explained how to copy all filters and paste them on different scenes
this helped me alot my dogs keep jumping off the bed above me where i'm record and my mic picks it up so hard trying to dial it in hopefully this works bc i just got the fifine a8 microphone hopefully this works bc my old setup is the focusrite scarlett 2i2 and the audio technica at2035 from 8 years ago
Is there any way to make a condenser mic sound better when it's on a tripod and placed on a desk? A lot of the reviews for the mic I bought (Zealsound condenser mic) show it on a desk and not on a boom arm. The reviewers claims that the sound quality is great when using the tripod but I can't get my audio to sound better. I use OBS and the filters you mentioned (gain, compressor, etc.)
Can I request an update on what games have haptic feedback support for ps5 controllers ON PC? Warning, I researched for 2 hrs and only found black ops and metro exodus. Might be a wild goose chase. Or could be view gold if there's more, OR more coming. (Typod originally) I just got me the red ps5 controller to tide over till the elite 2 halo edition. I'm excited for the haptic feedback.

For people who don’t have a second desk to clamp the boom arm onto, would you recommend a floor standing boom mic stand?
