Can you explain what you mean by "tear away" or "pull away" pants? Don't think I've heard that term before.
The splits are so far up... I like to call them pull away pants.

Let me check on the pattern for the jeans the lady is wearing on the Josyln blouse pattern. I would make the parka in a lightweight cotton or twill.
I checked the Vikisews website and it doesn't look like they offer a pattern for the pants the young lady is wearing.
