I've only made one trench since I started- the Taylor Trench coat from Rebecca Taylor. I LOVE IT! So happy I printed the pattern a couple of times, as her website was sold off a couple years ago- I may never make another again 😂 but if I do, I have a vintage copy of Vogue 1971 that's first on my list

Thanks for the nice overview of patterns. I have wanted to make another coat for years. My first and last coat was Deer and Doe Luzerne coat which is soooo beautiful (but I kind of ‚grew‘ out of it 😭). It had a A LOT of pieces but was definitely doable with patience.

I am taking my time with a trench coat 😂 - have one I started in my late teens & left unfinished at my parents house. Recently re-discovered & keen to finish it just to see, even though I’m almost 40 years older and not so sure it will fit 🤭
