      No the emo superman but a character building of SUPERMAN. I can relate to him, any human in his early young age tries to find worth of his life, the purpose, the abilities. And once, you go through some hardship , with time you develop a stable character. WATCH JUSTICE LEAGUE 2017. You will see how SUPERMAN has become so COOL and STABLE.

      I'd say its the best really, it had everything. I still don't get why people criticize Snyder, he's done FANTASTIC with MoS and BvS. These movies are so mature and fulfilling which shows a whole different side of the Superhero genre. It's not just about big fights and cheeky jokes. The origin stories are great, the characters and their various motivations it all just fits in perfectly. I can't wait for Justice League to come out. DCEU is gonna be great, best superhero movies (for now) apart from the TDK trilogy (who can forget that lol).
      Snyder is definitely not scared to go all the way unlike Marvel who I think always play it safe and aim for big hits in the box office. Cap America CW and Iron man 3 are so so disappointing I just wished I could meet the writers of those movies pffft.

      @@RoodeMenon no. The tone of a movie depends upon its story and what it's trying to achieve. Man of steel was an attempt to create a realistic/relatable version of Superman which is why his character is much more human and much less happy than the usual superman standard and that is also the reason why the tone is darker. Its still realistic and not too dark. One of the darkest comic book movies is bvs

      By killing Zod, Kal El also knew that if he never did, there would be no Earth left and he would have to become dust for General Zod's master plan... and even if the "codex" plot device was separate from Kal El, he would still be faced with being destroyed by Zod who is pulling military rank while Kal El is just really a civilian and son of someone he saw as a traitor to Krypton so it was a no win situation for Kal El if he left General Zod alive or as the sucker fans want to believe "had him arrested"
      This speaks volumes even of Faora herself as Krypton society and culture was dramatically different from what Jor El was researching and where the Earthling level was at.
      Plus Earth a suitable planet for Krytonian terraforming which simply means deleting all sub species because Krytonians are not Earthlings and not human beings at all... they are aliens and Bruce Wayne and arguably Luthor were right to suspect Superman of possibly being a threat that needed to be put down.

      There were some golden moments in MOS that had a lot of heart - the way he took care of his mum and his girl. I think the fight scenes were superb - they were vicious, held nothing back - all out brawl, even if it decimated much of the city. The trouble with BVS was it didn't have a believable General Zod type villain - and the Lex Luthor we got was not convincing at all. that was why the studio felt they had to CGI a big bad and we got a dumb Doomsday hence.

    Zod & Faora-Ul were both played by awesome actors in this movie and had far depth than the average villian.
    Cavill nailed his role as Superman himself and we got Costner smashing it out of the park as his dad as well!
    I grew up with Christopher Reeve's as Superman, but Cavill and his peers gave us the definitive Man of Steel...

    people complain about Henry Cavill killing his 'Zod' by neck snapping.
    but they forgot Christopher Reeve first killed his own 'Zod' in Superman II at the Fortress of Solitude. first, christopher brakes his right hand, lifted him up and throws him to his death. yes, 1970's superman kills. 2013's superman can't kill? henry has no choice. christopher is smilling about it with wet armpits and music playing and all... (ten, ten-ten, ten, ten.. ten! tenen!!)

    • @Visitor7474

      I don't care who kills who in a movie and you are totally right..The only difference is 2013 superman you see him snap the neck and kill him and in Superman 2 you don't see anything just them falling..

    • @unholydanger
      @unholydanger 7 років тому +4

      +JKevz Reyes Superman2 of the 1970s killed Zod because his power was wiped out by a power-removal device. Zod lost all his powers that's why Superman could kill him. The other Kryptonians in Zod's team fell to their death because they lost their powers too.

Henry killed an ABNORMAL INHUMAN ALIEN SUPETNATURAL THREAT TO ALL MAN KIND SAVING A WHOLE FAMILY OF FATHER MOTHER AND ONE CHILD IN THE PROCESS OF KILLING. okay. why not. still asking for the point of red sun depowering. your point is?
