      @@SatvicMovement Thank you for the beetroot roti recipe. We added some ghee, and the dough kneaded so beautifully. Glad we can eat beetroot without any issues with its taste or smell. Perhaps, could add karela (bitter melon) next to see how that tastes. Have you tried karela in roti?

    I love your content Subah. I don't have wheat flour so I took some rolled oats and ground them in my coffee grinder and grated some potatoes and carrots. I added no salt or sugar and the pimento gave it such a lovely flavour. Thanks so much for your advice. My Herbalist put me on to your videos and I have lost alot of fat due to it.

    You are so lovely and thank you for your time spent making videos. I have made cooked sweet potato and whole wheat flat bread. It broke up a lot. I usually dip my vegetable into a spicy batter then into a frying pan when it's all stuck together it looks like a vegetable naan bread. I did not think to blend the vegetables Thank you for sharing. Love from 🇬🇧

    I like this idea of adding veggies. I will try. However, is Wheat really healthy? I read so much info on wheat, for example. Wheat is hybrid, cross between rye and other grain. I will try this recipe and use coconut flour or chickpea flour instead of whole wheat. Thanks for the recipe.

      Wheat is okay if you use whole wheat (with the chokar)

      Most grains are not ideal for humans if you really do your research. But, as a transition to grain free (or at least wheat free) diet this would be good for many people..

      @@SatvicMovement i love your videos, thank you! I'm not sure about India but unfortunately here in US the wheat has mold and mycotoxins growing on them, just like the corn, coffee and nuts.:( Are there any substitutes we can use like possibly almond flour or any of the others?

    • @paige9908
      @paige9908 5 років тому +2

      @@crystalclear6205 wheat is also hybridized here and is not the wheat of our ancestors, and is one of the most (scientifically speaking) inflammatory foods in our diet. Try something like a chickpea flour, which is better than something like brown rice. You could also try a pseudo grain like buckwheat or sorghum or teff, or a mix of any of the above to achieve desired taste/texture. Almond and coconut flour are fine but almond flour is a bit heavy compared to the others listed above.

    This is perhaps the best food invention, the taste of veggies is so light, it's not recognisable, it also looks good
