I tried beetroot roti and believe me it's delicious. I have been eating it since three days in mg lunch. I can't go back to the normal roti now. Thanks Satvik Movement.
@R S There might be some reasons like: 1) The dough has lumps ( small beetroot pieces 2) The though is either too soft or too hard 3) U have not kept the dough aside for 10 to 15 minutes after kneeding. Please ensure that the beetroot paste has a very good consistency. Also, take half portion of the flour and half portion of beetroot. If the mixture has same proportion with good consistency, the roti would be fluffy and soft. Good luck!

Hii Satvic Team, I love all your recipes and do follow except these chapatis. Because my uncle is an Ayurvedic doctor and he is very close to Dr. Khadar who popularised milltes in India. Through him I came to know that our ancestors were growing and eating only millets. But after the British invasion on India we started growing wheat and which is not healthy as millets are. You are making so many changes in food and lifestyle so make this also and bring back our traditional grain back, being gluten free, low in glycemic index it's healthy for everyone. Please satvic team stress upon the use of millets and make recipes 🙏
Yes ur absolutely right ,I too have doubt about having chapattis (wheat)in satvic diet. Bcoz ,as u said it has high glycemic index . By consuming wheat my dad's diabetes is unstable ,after switching to millets it's under control.
Start partially, like make 25% with 1 veggie & rest the normal, next meal use different veggie still 25%. Without announcing keep on observing, what kind of adaption is going on. Only description you may give is you are trying to add veggies in roti to see if family member like these versions. These roti are lighter and are better for digestion. In a weeks time, you may find the acceptance to some extent. Based upon the data you may make 75% veggie roties & 25% normal. And finally probably 95% to 100% Satvic & 5%-0% normal. Best Wishes.🌷🎉
The concept is good. Faster digestion if happens is only aided by reduced wheat amount, as its a normal practice to eat roti with vegetable in India. One can eat smaller chapati if they can't make this type of roti. So satvik is just a name for traditional roti paratha already existing in India. People by themselves can avoid ghee or saturated fats for better health.

I also had to face the very same problem and the response was nil. So i just tried the method which i have suggested to you.. I liked the Boiled and pureed version. Hope this helps you.
