@@somariemelendez9398 If you Google "soul loss" you'll find that it is, in fact, a condition going back centuries. Shamans were often used to reunite a person with their soul.
Acting, scripting, plus location put all the pieces together. I was engaged right from the beginning and followed it through, step by step. Our souls are intangible even to ourselves. If a person can be harmed because of a traumatic experience so also can a soul be harmed or fragmented. It was really nice to see experiences such as this being the focus of the movie. It may have been frightening in some ways but we need to remember that soul, ghosts, unexplained events are a part of everyday living. Lots of things aren't always explainable and it is comforting to know that out there somewhere are people who understand these things. The most enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. Thank you for the experience.
A tale of trauma, separated souls, shamanic journeying, and the power of love. A nice, new-agey story with powerfully presented messages and a happy ending. What’s not to like. 5 Stars ✨!
This was a great movie. Everything was amazing. How the body acts when the soul separates from the body or even pieces of it, is exactly how I pictured it. I don't know why this pop up but I was empelled to watch it and wasn't disappointed.

Had me guessing what direction the story was gonna take. Turned out to be relatively simple, but well produced and acted, with effective ghostly visual effects. Worth a viewing.

I heard about loss of soul before because of traumatic experiences. This movie explained it so well that after having grieved so much in life, I feel like, I sure must have lost fragments of my soul. I am numb towards almost everything and hardly feel happy. Great movie. Full marks for originality. ❤❤

I too thought this movie explained many things pertaining to the soul. All my strength and love go with you on your journey.

Yes at the end of the movie you see that old man Martin well he died and took Marty's soul with him along with the two little girls souls who were drowned by their mother. So three people died anMarry witnessed two of the girls drowning. I would give this movie at least an. 8 in a score of 1 -10. ten being the highest.

I too have became soulless. I had experienced pain and trauma, mostly self imposed, that i decided: if i didn't care, i would not hurt. It was as easy as turning off a light switch. but in the darkness it is hard to find and turn on that switch. Without love my life was meaningless, a walking zombie, dead on the inside. It was the love of others that gave me the strength and hope i needed to face my demons, and allow God to heal my tethered soul.
I know some of these feelings. 💙🙏

It's rare you'll hear this from me as I'm very critical, but this is in the top 5 of my best movies to watch. Acting isn't very good either is the direction but the story line and soul of the movie is great. Thank you for sharing this.❤❤❤
This was a really fantastic ! The acting was phenomenal and not just third rate it really evoked feelings of uncertainty snd fear and suspense for Mary’s plight. The methods they used to resolve her problems were based in a new medium we don’t hear much about -shamanism.
I love shamans there real. Best healers.
A very engaging film that stands quite nicely on its own with a message for those who look and listen. At times the acting is rather over the top but it doesn't distract the watcher from the theme of the film. No this isn't a ghost film and it's not trying to be. A good relaxing feel that makes you a little edgy with a nice ending, very worth the watching.

What she is experiencing is like the dissociation from self that happens to those who have been through a bad trauma that could be physical and emotional.
I remember having this loss of soul after my father's demise. I performed the last rites and I became soulless. I think psychiatrists call the symptoms ptsd?

5 stars, I really enjoyed this movie, not horror by any means. The acting by both parents is exaggerated but the symptoms of a fragmented soul is pretty close I can evaluate because it happened to me, my soul got fragmented due to a extremely traumatic event and everyone close to me could see I was not myself I can also understand how a doctor would prescribe anti-depressants however this didn’t happen to me but I was deeply unhappy and felt off. During the trauma I was having involuntary out of body experience every night. I’m finally feeling like myself again but it has been a long long road. Anyone who has never experienced trauma could not possibly even begin to understand, you have to have experienced it yourself or watch someone you love go through it. The trauma I went through was horrific and till this day I can’t take my mind there so you see I’ll will never be the full of life, fun loving, generous, funny person I was before. The quote people say ‘if it doesn’t kill you it will make you stronger’ is total BS! They are literally talking out of their ass. Again 5 stars for this movie!

@@toocuteforwords2757 I think people say that to make you feel better, that it wasn’t all for nothing you are now stronger. But extreme trauma tragically affects a person in so many levels, no it is not good, nothing of any benefit has come from it.

In my culture, if someone experiences or witnesses a traumatic event, a traditional healer is called and among the rituals performed is to calm the soul of the witness or victim and make sure the soul isn't left behind or worse wanders off.

The human psyche is still vastly unexplored. As Trice said conventional shrinks don't believe in souls - fact is they wouldn't be caught dead with one. Anyway don't know if this could be classified as a horror film but gotta put it somewhere. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep 'em comin'!

Very nice, movie... I liked the idea that the soul can be separated from the body and lost... Sometimes, it is necessary take off the soul for a few minutes. For example when we have to say: I'm sorry but you're fired, or even worse: I'm sorry but I don't love you anymore.
It started a little slow, but it's a very good movie. When the Shaman went on her journey the change of film was done really well.
