I was there this night! I saw the show twice in July and we already had tickets for another show when we caught wind that was in town. After seeing The Boys in the Band we rushed over to the Hudson to see what was going on. There were a lot of camera men in the lobby so we suspected something was going on, From the tv screens in the lobby we could tell that something different was going on onstage at the end of the show. We asked if we could just come in and watch the screens but they let us go in the theater and stand at the back to see the band perform! What an amazing time. A fabulous show that will hopefully live on after tonight's final Broadway performance.
Having been a fan of the Go-Go's for 30+ years, I thought I'd seen all of their videos, especially those here on UA-cam but, this one from Arcadia is a first for me. Loved it.
a great celebration of the Go Go's music that makes me want to go out right now and buy a ticket to the show but seeing the whole band on a broadway stage joyfully performing is the greatest thing that could happen to them

Zack Stark. I saw a rehearsal premier in the winter of 2017. It looked good then an they didn't even have costumes yet. So far I have heard good things. Hope you enjoy it.
It is absolute bullshit that this band is not in the HOF. wanna talk about some sexist nonsense. Ground breaking and still culturally influential, obviously. Make it right.
The performers and musicians seem to be in that magic place where they have truly let loose and are celebrating their artistry.
