Wife of Accused Killer Robert Telles Texted ‘Where Are You?’ at Time of Reporter’s Murder

- Before wrapping up cross-examination Thursday afternoon, prosecutor Christopher Hamner asked Robert Telles if he had deleted any text messages between himself and his wife. Telles said that he did not recall doing so. Hamner then showed jurors a picture of Telles’ wife’s Apple Watch that showed she texted him “where are you?” at the time Jeff German was murdered. The text was deleted from Telles’ and his wife’s phone, but not from the Apple Watch.

Robert Telles is accused of murdering Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff German. After German had written several articles about Telles, a public administrator at the time, he was found stabbed to death outside his home in September 2022. Prosecutors claim Telles’ DNA was found under German’s fingernails. Telles has pleaded not guilty and says he was framed for the murder.

The decision to testify in one's own defense is one of only two decisions that are *solely* up to the defendant in a criminal trial. I guarantee you his attorneys begged him not to take the stand, refused to go along with or even offer the appearance of co-signing his absurd conspiracy theory, and his "narrative" testimony (i.e. just let him rant for almost the entire length of the BORDERLANDS movie without any direct examination from counsel) was the only compromise they could get out of him.
An attorney is not allowe to permit his client to testify if he knows he will lie. But yet the client has an absolute right to testify in his trial. What to do? Either quit the case or refuse to participate in a question-and-answer dialog with the client, as is the norm when a client opts to testify.
Narcissists can’t help themselves.

Even Darrell Brooks didn’t lie this much. His body language, evasive and defensive responses and the clear evidence linking him to the victim, motive, DNA, clothes makes this a slam dunk GUILTY. He could be one of the most dangerous humans alive.

Did you believe Jeff German neighbors about several they men dressed just like the suspect? They'd been at Jeff's home arguing in his yard ? Reference was last week then..meaning they were there prior to finding and she assumed it was a target because they were all around last week dressed in orange..bug prosecutor says they don't run around looking hideous .
