Leonard Cohen himself would appreciate this, the most perfect rendition of Famous Blue Raincoat I’ve ever heard/witnessed. There’s singing a song and there’s ‘getting’ a song. Sammy gets it.
And always, that lovely smile at the end of the song....... is the cheery on top.
His expression just adds so much more to the video and the music and the atmosphere .3.

I'm a fan of Cohen but this song never meant much to me until I heard you sing it. Then I sampled other versions and I just came back to how perfect yours is. Minimalist, melancholy, and quiet, alone in your room, leaning over your guitar like someone leaning over a letter they were writing. Just perfect.
