Thank you so much for this clip! One of the Berry Brothers was the husband of the great Juanita Moore. I was steered over here by the tribute to her on the blog, Self-Styled Siren. These guys were great.

I agree They were good, however, they couldn't compete with the incredible routines of the Nicholas Brothers-the greatest dance act,EVER!!!

@@boblebovidge7049 Nobody was trying to compete with anyone back then. They were just enjoying the dance and art that they loved. No reason to take the shine front he Berry brothers to raise up the Nicholas brothers. When I met Fayard, he had nothing but good things to say about dancers of all levels and abilities. He just loved that people loved to dance.

I never thought the Nickolis brothers could be beaten , but these men are just as good or better. id like to see this in slow motion, there moves are really fast! When the middle man, started singing, it sounded just like Nat King Cole! and the intraducer, sounds and looks like Phill Silvers!

Actually, that was Phil Silvers. As for the Berry Brothers, they were indeed contemporaries and cinematic rivals of the Nicholas Brothers. They remained active in show business for quite a few years, but as you can imagine once they became older this level of athleticism tapered off quite a bit.

Very Talented. Obviously this was kept away from the General Public. I've seen millions of Black Entertainers. Possibly this was Cut from its Original film and never shown.

It was not cut. The song is a reprise of Ann Sothern's rendition.
