    The 2nd Battle for Fallujah was far worse than the 1st. They were ready for us the 2nd time and dug in like ticks behind fortified positions, many of them with good overhead views of the main advance routes. In house to house clearing operations against such a well entrenched enemy it became quite common for the lead man making door breaches to take immediate fire and be either wounded or killed outright. Platoons flipped coins for who would run point just so that no man could feel self-guilt for being the one to personally appoint them, fate decided that which gave some feeling of absolvement.

    • @fluffles9591
      @fluffles9591 3 місяці тому +3

      Naw a lot wrong, they weren't dug in waiting behind fortefied positions, most of them ran around from weapon cache to the next weapons cache...more like cocka roaches. They didn't flip coins trying to decide fate, the first & scond lieutenants were leading all the soilders from door to door close quarters combat...a couple times the enemy tried barracading themselves inside a house during firefights, but the tanks following would blow the house to ruble, at one point during this battle a lieutenant leading put up sorta like a checkpoint of soilders all together just eliminating any terrorists they seen and would interchange soilders that were shooting so they could rest an reload, this was pretty much the only time they weren't constantly moving around during the battle of fellujah...this was the last true combat of search an destroy before the entire army occupied the area for 20 years like security guards

    12:54 The Trijicon ACOG. It's crazy to think that the first one came out in 1987 (and I remember seeing it in movies like Terminator 2 When Sarah Connor tried to kill Dyson). After the creation of Eugene Stoner's AR-15 itself--and the subsequent M16, M4, etc.--the ACOG might be the next most impressive piece of fighting rifle kit in terms of total proven timespan and time spent on the battlefield.

    Did you cry ?
    Who really won this war ?

      That's an SMAW. It's a multi-pourpus rocket launcher mostly used for anti-structure stuff, and the rifle-like thing is a "spotting rifle." It fires 9mm tracers that have roughly the same flight path, so it's used to tell the trajectory of the rocket.

    Hello sir, how are you? I am from Iraq. I used to work with the Marines in Fallujah. I was in the 2nd regiment in the Golan Heights from 2005 to 2007. The regiment was transferred to the city of Diyala. I have certificates from the Marines. I am currently threatened by militias. Please help me. I want to obtain a letter of recommendation. I do not want to immigrate to America. Please help me. With thanks and appreciation.

      You’re right dude. You’ve figured it out. The battle of Fallujah, and indeed the entire GWOT, was put on just to fake this video for you. But nothing escapes you does it?
      It couldn’t be that a trained, and motivated insurgent force could maintain their brand new and freshly supplied weapons from Iran/Russia/China? No, definitely not. It had to be faked for the video.
