A very beautiful blade, the width of the blade and the O-kisaki really give it a lot of vibrancy and an aggressive look
I am sure in person it has a lot of other virtues. Aoi art is a class act dealer

Wow, It was made around 150 years ago.
Imaging the history behind this sword, fall of samurai, rise of westernized Meiji period, a time of extraordinary change.
    It would be a fabulous
    family heirloom.

Thanks a lot for the appreciation. These sword are verry artistic pieces of history and deserve to be well preserved.
If you are interested in swords, you may want to watch my other video featuring a wakizashi made 550 years ago. The time when samurai started to become footsoliders and started to wear the blade edge up.

Ludwigs Nihonto i was very impressed with your unboxing of this beautifully crafted historic sword. The soothing music added a great calm to the impending sight of the sword, congrats. I unfortunately only have a cheap copy of the sword that was used by Tom Cruise in the Last Samurai. However it is a live blade and as such it is treated with the respect of any bladed weapon should be and cared for. I even make smaller length blades as a hobby and it is amazing to create something and take pride in it. I too would love to own such a timeless beauty . With Respects from me here in Australia :-)
