Would that also kill the mold?
hi! You have to get a filter that captures mold and even then, effectiveness is limited depending on the type of mold and environment. It won't be very effective if mold is forming in a wet damp environment. Also, the Dyson TP07 does not have a OEM filter for mold as of 5/21/24.
Is this any better than a DP04?
The cool part in the name is a bit disingenuous. IMO the whole reason why the fan even exists is so it can circulate the air in a room so the purifier part can do its job better. Buying this as a fan is a waste of money.
Hi! It's nearly the same for air purification. Price per square foot of air scrubbing is very high ($$$) on the Dyson but it's definitely good looking. As a fan.. Most fans over $50 will be more powerful. , I'm waiting for the bp04 to arrive to do a crosscheck. .
i'm not a fan of Dyson but their air purifiers does not need to be that big if you can direct the clean air to people in the room. however, it is so expensive that one just buy a large purifier and fan with spare change. I also don't think you need to replace filters as often as advised as you can clean it with powerful vacuums and blowers, unless you need to replace it for new carbon filters which is only useful for dangerous fumes.
Hi! The Dyson filter is one piece so you have to replace everything together at the same time. Once the filter gets saturated, you can tell the air purifier gets less and less effective and noiser
