Ben I like seeing seed to harvest, I appreciate your work in producing excellent videos and sharing your methods. Thank you. I keep meaning to grow beetroot and miss the time, beetroot crisps sound great. Take care and thank you.
Many thanks for this well-presented information. Your season's efforts gives me much hope (and important info) to go forth. I'm late sowing but anticipate enjoying some greens according to your culinary suggestions.
Hi Ben great video and some cracking looking Beetroot as well, i would like to know do you have any trouble with the Beetroot Miner on your leaves, i seem to get them all the time with the leaves looking all holey. Terry at Terry Kings Gardening on a Budget, he had loads of trouble last year with his Beetroot, you could see the tiny worms and the see through leaves and eggs, your leaves look great so i was wondering if you have had the same problem at all. Great video, Ben! I haven't managed to produce any actual beetroot yet-just leaves (which I love in salad too)! I planted multi-sown beetroot and turnips (in the same raised bed) on 21st July last summer for the later crop. The turnips grew and were delicious, but the beetroots didn't form😢. They had not put on as much growth as yours before I planted them out, so maybe that was it.... Still harvesting the leaves for salad though! 😊
