- On a recent trip to LA, Texas's Gavin Kish claimed an NBD at the city's famed Sunset Car Wash. it took three separate missions, but he finally tamed that steep bank (right alongside one of the area's most hectic streets) with a half-Cab. Riding backwards into that two-story beast? Amazing. He joins an elite never-been-done-at-Sunset club, which includes Alex Midler (backside 360) who just happened to be there to support Kish. One of the gnarliest spots in skateboarding. Props to Cardiel and Gonz for first stepping to that thing at night like 23 years ago, and to everybody who's jumped into it since then, which isn't very many people. You know it's a gnarly spot when half cabs are considered next -level shit.

@@superskateboardingentertai9228 Even though Dollin didn't roll away, he gave his attempts everything he had, and he did come close. It's just as legit as if he had made it, in my opinion. Much like Boulala's 25 stair attempts. I also count Mark Gonzales' early grab drop into it, even though he ate shit rolling off the curb, because he was like 30 at the time, which was considered pretty old back then, and it's a bit outside the scope of the kind of stuff he normally does in terms of danger factor. My favorite is Greco's ollie into it backside.
Yeah. Dollin's kickflip was gnarly. Half cab is easier cause the board is always under you. With a kickflip you lose the board for a second.

Speaking from experience , I know what it feels like when you meet someone that you look up to and then they turn out to be a conceited person.
