Definitely one of the coolest dudes I’ve met. I was skating at the wedge in Scottsdale AZ and chad was there filming a video. I saw a crowd gathering under the bridge and headed over to see what was going on. He was trying to gap the waterway that runs through there. After breaking his board he said, “I need another board” I offered mine and he grabbed it. He ended up snapping mine and told me to wait around until everyone cleared out. He made the gap. He didn’t have any boards in his Escalade so he drove me over to sidewalk surfer and got me a new shortys! Signed it and gave me some stickers and shit. Stand up guy. I though for sure he was going to bail on me. But nope. Took me and the other kid to get new boards. Even sparked a blunt on the way back to the park. The other kid didn’t smoke and he apologized. I though that was cool. Didn’t pressure him or make him feel uncool for not partaking. Super nice and down to earth. I’d invite him over for a beer and a blunt if he ever visits AZ again 👍🏼 thanks Chad.
