The key to playing over the minor ii-V-i is lots of practice. And what do you practice? Practice using these scales and arpeggios on the appropriate chords, targeting chord tones, all over the neck. That's all there is!

If you want to complete the melodic minor circle, make the i chord CminMaj7 and play C melodic minor over it ;)

HELP! The five chord in the c minor scale is g minor...not g7. How come you didn't explain why you used g7... Thanks for the lesson. M

You can borrow a G7 from its parallel C Major scale. Dominant chords like to resolve down a perfect fifth (or up a perfect fourth - depending how you look at it) so they tend to resolve back to the tonic chord whether it's Major or Minor.
