I don't remember the torque wrench's head containing any grease when I opened it. It's still working fine after three years.

I bought the Craftsman 9-43446 repair kit to fix an old Craftsman ratchet. I'm not sure if that's what you need.

@@solartonytony5868 The inside diameter of the ratchet head where the switch is located is approx. 1-1/8". I got it on Amazon, so you should be able to return it if it doesn't work for you. It is a little pricey now - much cheaper on eBay.
