I don't usually troll but honestly I can't see why u didn't just install a 6.2 truck engine with same compression as the ls3 keep the truck accessories a better intake custom cam and have more horsepower with less money involved seeing as how the ls3 and 6.2 is the same engine other than cam and oiling system
6.2 truck motors aren’t that great. My buddy had one and their numbers are terrible for what they should output. They just suck Fuel with little gains.
The 6.2 truck heads don't have hollow stem valves. Depending on your cam choice and how high you rev, it can be a problem. In terms of oiling system, I have no idea if the LS3 gets a different oil pump from the L92/L96 truck engines.
Walid H it’s great just need to get it retune. The reverse gear is giving me troubles. I put in a 3200 stall as well. But it is a beast and it pulls hard when I get on it. You can see it on my gram @bbrblackwell and I’m on Facebook as well.

I love the build but it’s wierd how confused these guys are. 4l80 is a badass transmission you meant to say 4l60 and also you put a 12 bolt in not a 14 bolt and meant to say the 10 bolt is what it had in it and that it wouldn’t hold up!
Laughs in factory 6.2 6l80 14 bolt 3.73 4WD. It'll out 60 foot and 0-60 5.0 mustangs all day. Pisses them straight off racing red light to red light, ole grandpa trick with stock exhaust and camper shell. lol

A 4L60 can't handle a 4.3's potential lol, weak transmissions. Considering how cheap and easy it is to swap in a 80e I don't know why anyone would stick with a 60.

And, it's been a good truck. I'm thinking about going with an LS3. I'd love to go with either the 480HP or 525HP engine but with a 5-speed manual. What kind of numbers should I expect to pay on a swap like that?"

K2s had two 12-bolt options, 9.5 (5.3) and 9.76 (6.2) inch. GMT900 Pickups with 6.2 had the 9.5 inch 14-bolt.

No vvt different cam valve reliefs in pistons light weight valves and different intake.
