being a student at indian college I get so stressed when I think about getting job and being in this rat race with extreme competition but when I watch video of this guy it always leaves me on positive note that we can be whatever we want to be.

Things take time. Not everything is big bang.
1. Identify discrimination
2. Ignore & move On
3. Learn from people who struggle & at your position earlier
4. Believe & work on yourself ( open source & remote & skills)
I have a 2 yr gap and have lost two years of my college due to financial situations being very rough,somehow landed in a tier3 college,almost dropped after my 4th sem. I am not great at a lot of things but you gave me confidence to make my struggle worth it. Thanks a lot .

Im from a tier 3 college and whenever i tell people in my company my college name ... they make this awkward face like .. "yeh yaha kaise pahuch gya ... contacts honge" ... I code better than most people my level .... than they're like .. "oh" ... everybody deserves a chance to prove themselves

Where to find the US based companies to find a reliable job? Are they really approving indians as their employees without relocating to their location?? Hey Kunal, please share your timeline of what you learnt and when or like on which open source project you worked on and how. I get your point that we should contribute to open source but honestly, I don't get (or I don't want to believe) that how we can contribute without programming and all. Just share your timeline so that we can understand at what stage you contributed where and what you had learnt till that stage.

I agree to most of your points in the video but at 12:42, "teachers who themselves haven't cleared jee couldn't be great jee teachers" isn't the best arguement. As my JEE teacher once asked, "Who is known as the best cricket coach in India?" - Ramakant Achrekar because he is the coach of "Sachin Tendulkar".
He said a teacher's success is determined by their students achievements.

I just finished my Class 12, i have not given JEE coz I don't interested in Phy,Chem.. i love Cs from my childhood and now i started learning DSA from your vids in these 2months holiday before joining clg. Now my ques is Shall i join in some decent clg or shall i join in some clg where there is no attendance issues. But Anyway I am going to learn from your courses and from online. I am from BCA and I took 2 year gap after 12th standard.
Companies also write "Degree from a Prestigious college". I have seen bunch of job postings of big companies hiring in India writing their JDs like this.
