@@sumitbahl2222 tier is a type of categorization in terms of Indian colleges tier 1 are generally the colleges which usually get ample placement offers and opportunities like an IIT BITS etc tier 2 falls below tier 1 colleges in terms of above mentioned whereas tier 3 students get very little opportunities and support from their colleges, hence those who you might have heard of from tier 3 are mostly placed through off campus placements

i am not sure why devops roles are so less paid than SDE roles at most of the companies. can anyone let me know the range being paid to devops roles with 3 yrs experience. It will help in getting some perspective. job sites also does not have much data on it. I see devops more values outside india

Same here Kunal. Everybody in my college told me I must do CP to get an excellent job. I never listened to them, as I was into DevOps & Cloud. I could now say I took the right decision of not listening to them.
