This is probably audi's one of the best creature. Timeless design, good power, V8, Gated manual... I don't really care about v10, to me V8 is just fine. what else would you really want?
A v10
The difference between the V8 and the V10 was about 70k. That's an AMG for a daily and an R8 V8 on the weekends my friend.

@@semperumbra10I think that from the very begging Audi designed this car for more powerful engine. V8 was a temporary choice for beginning, to check if the audience likes the car or maybe they wanted to rush a bit with presentation and put a V8 they already had.
A shame that later they didn't sell a V8 manual variant with maybe a little softer suspension, more luxurious version or simply cheaper, but Audi didn't want this car to be recognised as a cheap underperforming substitute. They wanted to be in a supercars territory all in.

The good old days where Audi used to offer a gated manual gearbox on the 1st gen R8. Sadly, Audi does not offer this gearbox on the 2nd gen R8.

That V8 sure sounds good! Combine that with a manual transmission, and it automatically becomes an awesome and engaging sports car!
Naturaly Aspirated V8 and manual shift gear super car. This Car is gonna be super expensive in the future.

Dude what are you doing for a living that you bought an R8 at 22? I bought an E90 330i with manual last year and I thought it was a pretty good car for a 21 year old guy (although salary in my country is like 4 times lower than doing the same job in Germany for example :()

The team and I are Lloyds of London Specialty Insurnace brokers covering genetic modification, penis enlargers, flame throwers, agriculture, rockets, celebrities, confidential government & private projects etc. My job also covers as a technician but it’s not predominant (tech as in data processing).
It’s alright, I have a Corsa VXR E as a every day car the R8 is for occasions and sunny weather.
@@thezerastora holy smokes. That's an interesting profession right there but I'm not surprised it pays well enough to be able to afford an R8. I'm a full stack developer (at least for now) but salaries in Poland aren't the greatest(at least for beginners). I guess I'd need to save my entire salary for like 24 months so I could buy an R8(doubt it'd be a manual)

It's doesn't seem easy to shift fast from 2nd to 3rd and 4th to 5th but when you do it right, I imagine the satisfaction must be IMENCE!
Speaking from experience you have to be very careful not to go from 2nd back to 1st! Needs a positive effort to push the gear shift back to the middle gate.

I bought the V8 and much happier with my purchase than if I got the V10 more people are interested in the original V8 than the V10.
