My thoughts exactly, I thought it was reckless trying to start it up without first finding out the condition of the engine! Did they even know if there was any oil left in it? And then they revved it several times from a cold start! Talk about a rough return to life for this car 😆
Good amateur detailing with small mistakes. "Regarding wheels": 1.The wheels should be removed due to the impossibility of cleaning the inner part of the rim. 2. Inability to wash the wheel arches. 3. You did not use any preparation to remove tar from the rims. 4. When spraying with deironizer for the first time, I do not recommend using brushes or brushes. Spray on it, wait for it to dissolve, wash it off with water and dry it. Spray it with deironizer again and only then use a brush or a brush. 5. you didn't clay the rims. "In terms of the body and interior": 1. You unnecessarily first washed the entire car with water and then used active foam, which causes its dilution on wet elements. First lather and rinse, then tornado dry. 2. Use the tar preparation and glue up to the height of the door handles and the back of the car (the car was parked next to the trees, some sap could have fallen from them), 3. Foam again and rinse. 4. Wash the car with a sponge and shampoo using two buckets with a separator and then dry it. 5. use the deironizer on the entire car, rinse and use the deironizer again and then use the mechanics in the form of a sponge. (in the video you only made micro scratches on the paint while scrubbing the foam) 6. Finally, the entire car should be clayed before polishing. You didn't use any dressing on the plastic parts inside. You could polish or matt the gear shift knob. !! You didn't clean the engine compartment or the front trunk. You did not apply any dressing or coating to the soft top. You give back the car and the discs are red from chemicals ehhh. There are preparations for this. *Nothing beats the owner who came in, started the car and let the cold engine cut off until he wanted to cry because he didn't know or didn't warm up the engine earlier. PS This is not hate, people are watching you, so let's strive for professional detail

Who fires up ANY car that has sat that long without fluid changes and a really good inspection before doing so let alone doing it to a V10 Audi. Yo! the process of restoring an abandoned supercar like the Audi R8 involves meticulous cleaning, polishing, and protection to bring it back to its former glory. With expert care and attention to detail, even the most neglected vehicles can be transformed into showstoppers that inspire awe and admiration.
The end result was amazing… and I would love to see the NSX get some detail love too… but oh man I hope now that the R8 is cleaned up that it gets all of it’s issues sorted and becomes a well maintained and beloved car, perhaps with an owner who is more focused on keeping it running.

I agree that you did a 10/10 fantastic job on cleaning up the car, on video it looks factory new, however, starting the engine up after it was sitting for 5 years was really stupid. The motor oil has gone to shit 100% (for a car of this caliber its recommended to change oil every 6 months at least) not to mention the fuel was probably spoiled since fuel has a expiration date. You took so many miles off engines life span it makes my heart hurt. Next time change oil and do an engine flush and pour in some fresh fuel before starting up
My first reaction was that the owner was pretty laid back about you "stealing" his car. A lot of people would have called the police on you instead of being excited and appreciative like he was.
That story sounds a little bit suspicious. They owned the house before and had other toys and It got stuck there. I’m not buying it. Why would you leave a car like that just sitting there and not do anything to protect it or take it somewhere else if you don’t own the house anymore. Clearly didn’t really seem to care about the car. Just wanted to get on Camera with that stupid smile on his face. He has the nerve to start and rev the car at the end without checking any fluid oil nothing. Clearly an idiot! The detail job is very nice.
Bro this is a good video but totally fake, for example 6:48 How can a leaf get into that compartment?? If the car was left for 4 years, the engines would fail and no leaf would get inside💀

My thoughts exactly, I thought it was reckless trying to start it up without first finding out the condition of the engine! Did they even know if there was any oil left in it? And then they revved it several times from a cold start! Talk about a rough return to life for this car 😆
That not the point … entertainment … does it start without any intervention is the question.
There are always professionals seeing it differently …
Can't get past how anyone would abandon a car like that.🤔
'Bill' didn't abandon, it, he has so many cars that it kinds got 'overlooked' and 'stuff got in the way', like the Honda NSX... yeah.
@@tacfoley4443 So he abandoned it....
@@tacfoley4443has so many cars with zero mechanical sense. He’s a car destroyer. Who fires up ANY car that has sat that long without fluid changes and a really good inspection before doing so let alone doing it to a V10 Audi. Excuse for not moving it is air ride issues and battery access? Give your head a shake. Removing two compressors and a tub to access a battery would take less than 10 minutes. Run some temporary lines even just to get that car off the ground. Within an hour I could have had that up off the ground. Nope, let’s winched it sideways as it drags itself along. Freakin’ joke man. Then fires it up and revs it. 🤮
@@surlycrosscheck1 Yeah there is more to the story than what "Bill" said in the video. Even the house looked abandoned.
It's abandoned because mice chewed holes in the air ride suspension, and he can't figure out how to change the battery. That's it.
Please subscribe!! These guys do such an incredible job with their videos, detailing, and bringing these cars back to life. Let's show our support and help them reach their subscriber goals!! They deserve it with all of the hard work, dedication, and time they put into each video for our enjoyment. Also, it's the holiday season, so let's spread some holiday cheer! Happy holidays, everyone!
Cleaning and detailing is a form of art when you put your soul into it , it pays off ,,, amazing work guys
the R8 looks really good! that car did have a lot of spiders because at 21:59 a spider pops right out after they finished waxing that section! 😂😂
😂😂
As an R8 Spyder owner…I’m shocked they let this thing get that bad. I treat mine better than my wife. #JustSayin
Glad it’s cleaned up and hopefully they take care of it now or sell it to someone who will take care of it.
yeah. I mean even if you can't move it anymore... why not closing the freaking windows? because battery is dead? that's insane excuse there. Same as for the rest, you can still get a freaking cover and get it at least kind of secured/sealed...
@@EagleEye666666 agreed! My R8 does some weird stuff when the battery is slightly low. But at the end of the day, it’s their car. They choose to do whatever with it. I keep doing whatever I want on mine.
@@TheFlexxGaragehow wealthy are you
@@Legend-lc9bv hahaha. I’m not wealthy. I just work hard and work smart. I worked hard on my career for 15 years that’s a 50 hour a week job in sales & marketing, and I have a car UA-cam channel that took me 6 years and 300 videos to get to 100,000 subscribers. Good morning everyone from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Great job guys ! 👍
Another abandoned car brought back to life.
And it even started ! 🎉 👍
I can’t imagine just “abandoning” my R8 🤦♂️ This is crime against everything !
It was not abandoned … only neglected.
Must be mega rich to leave that car there!
The GTR behind you is my Dreamcar😁
What exact car is it?
@@sniperboy768_xd3 nissan gtr r35 egoist. its probably late early 2010s model. the in black
It’s great how you guys are doing it for the love of the cars and not trying to do a sales pitch throughout the video to sell products like other detail channels. Best of luck reaching your goals 👍👍👍
“Well ya know, we moved and then Covid happened so we just abandoned a super car. It happens” 😂
And a NSX 😳
* Hey guys! Don't forget to hit that like button, comment, share this video and subscribe. It really helps the channel a lot. Thanks! *
Owning an R8 has always been a dream of mine. Letting one sit and rot is unforgivable. Shows a lot about your character and how you don’t value or appreciate your blessings
To some able to afford them just an expensive toy … and others would respond … just a car …
@@GanymedeXD at the end of the day it is just a car. But where is the character there? Spend money on something extravagant and not take care of it. It must be nice but that is not someone who is of good character. Even the richest men in the world still take care of their car, or their cars. That’s not a good quality bro
I am so glad you went back for the NSX, that's my all time favourite dream car!
Yo! My thoughts to you on this vid:
To be in the presence of your dream car is awesome; to be in physical contact of it feels like a million bucks; to finally own it is infinitely, indefinitely indescribable. If the Audi R8 is your dream car, you will get it -- good luck! Mine is a Nissan R35 GTR or a Lexus LC 500 -- I got to sit in the former of 2 different types and it's unforgettable! Your work on detailing the car is amazing -- from one car detailer to another 😉. Keep it up 👍
P.S.: If you do get an R8, get a hardtop 😁
You asked for a reaction to finding a car like that in that condition - all I can think of is: How much money does someone have that they can leave a car like that just sitting idle for years? And why the HELL would you leave the windows open/cracked?
The windows not being shut just makes no sense.
@@emmexfyv what makes no sense is firing it up after 5 years without all the fluids being changed out, fuel lines checked, filters swapped, air boxes checked (filters replaced) etc. He knew mice were an issue and those thing love air boxes. I bet he sucked all kind of acorns, grass, twigs etc right into that engine. I bet she did some serious damage there. Turbos probably needed some love before being spooled up but nope, not this guy. Just makes me sick.
@@surlycrosscheck1 Turbos?
If you got plenty of money and toys … some do not care about just one of their toys …
CRAZY story - crazy car. 🤙💥

Who would let that R8 just sit there ?
Great video as always guys, it looks like new !
And didn't put any cover on to protect it if nothing else...
Did you not watch the video? The owner literally explained why it sat for 3-4 years...
He could cover it or at least close the windows
@@vyoghyou know how hard is it to close the windows due to covid ?
@@vyogh that was i saying to put a cover it takes five minutes...
the process of restoring an abandoned supercar like the Audi R8 involves meticulous cleaning, polishing, and protection to bring it back to its former glory.
It never ceases to amaze me that a car like this would be left to the elements! I would have taken it to a vehicle storage facility, at least. Give me a proper manual gear box!
MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS! Looking forward to more in 24!!!

They just cleaned the supercar not transform it
Great Video Thank You Guys 🙏🙏🙏
What a beautiful machine. I hope everything gets fixed up and lives the life it deserves.
This just confirms how ironic and unfair life is. Those two are dream cars for thousands of people worldwide and they are left in a field to rot as if they are some cheap piece of junk. Great job with the cleaning. Keep it up !!
Cheap junk? Why? There are people who do not care about those few dollars … toy is toy regardless of price …
How much would you charge for this level of detailing? Fantastic job. I’ve been less than impressed with the car detailers in my area.
Not much I guess. They didn’t even removed some of the moulding in case there were other insects or spiders living inside of the car. If you already see small spiders then oh boy they are inside of the whole frame by now.
Also they didn’t even remove the tires to clean the rims and tires thoroughly. And also who the hell revs up an engine without even changing the fluids inside the motor?? They were even surprised that it had gasoline. Cmon.
twice the price of a New R8!
it was the owner... and this is a detailing enterprise not a mechanic one... doesn't make them less blamable for that but well... nothing we can do now... poor V10
@@cloud77hot40
I agree that you did a 10/10 fantastic job on cleaning up the car, on video it looks factory new, however, starting the engine up after it was sitting for 5 years was really stupid. The motor oil has gone to shit 100% (for a car of this caliber its recommended to change oil every 6 months at least) not to mention the fuel was probably spoiled since fuel has a expiration date. You took so many miles off engines life span it makes my heart hurt. Next time change oil and do an engine flush and pour in some fresh fuel before starting up
lol,
Old fuel maybe, oil has gone to shit? Nonsense.
Zero harm to the engine running it on this oil. NONE.
You do not get the point … its entertainment … does it start without input or not … its not about safely starting it!
It's amazing if you've found an expert, hopefully your workshop business will run smoothly, friend.
It looks amazing in manual
Bro this is a good video but totally fake, for example 6:48 How can a leaf get into that compartment?? If the car was left for 4 years, the engines would fail and no leaf would get inside💀
Just imagine living in a world where a $200,000 car doesn't even matter to you when you move. lol
When I was working in the middle east in my late 20's for a(the) company, I came across an abandoned luxury car at least once a week.
Smugglers and arms dealers will leave in a hurry, and never come back for their car.
The majority of them were left at the airports.
The worst part was not being able to restore them. We had to just demolish them.
It's amazing how well this car has aged
