I am sure to enjoy it. Wild hearts was a bit slow motion nightmare due to bad optimization but I still managed to enjoy it. I enjoyed Nioh combat and Sekiro combat and I see them both in this game.
Dude you said it best thank you for acknowledging that there is no better deal this year than this game on GamePass. I have a Ps5 and in good conscience I don't see myself buying this game because of how bad of a deal it is for me.
I wonder if a chronically unable to time parries sort of player can play this game lol. I suffer so much these days with games like this. More and more common.
I would say yes. The timing window for deflects is very generous. But also you can play without deflect. There are quite a few builds that focus more on tanking and blocking or spell damage. You just just need to watch out of the red spirit attacks since those can only be deflected or dodged.
Yes, I had a really rough time with parries in Sekiro and Bloodborne and never bothered with it in Elden ring but its way easier in this game. You'll definitely be able to get the hang of it.
Beat the game idk if I'm good or it's easy I'm on new game plus I'm trying hard no lie also in love the way they made Lu Bu model best version looks so bad ass bro
This game has nothing to do with DS or Nioh, unfortunately. The combat is closer to Sekiro, with the forced and in my opinion, bad, boring and sluggish "parry/deflect" mechanic instead of the vastly more satisfying dodge and mid-combo stance switches of Nioh. It is inferior to Nioh games (like Sekiro was) and I am saddened to see TN regressing into worse games than the ones that preceded them. I keep hearing complaints about the "PC version", but I run it at 4k 120fps with zero drops or fluctuations. I have a 4090 so I don't know if those complaints are valid or not in worse cards. The keyboard/mouse has no problems whatsoever, unless ppl don't know how to turn sensitivity up... The only thing that the PC needed is the removal of auto-aim. In conclusion, this is not a terrible game, but it is way worse than Nioh2 and if you look for something to that level of design you will be disappointed, like I was.
Its not souls like, its a souls clone. Its not bad, but the word salad you said was dishonest. Anyone whi plays this and is honest, would reach the conclusion its a souls clone. Thats not bad, for the genre its a winning formula. I hate all these companies that make crap just to be different. Like the Witcher, great game. I would be happy if they took the same framework and slapped a great new story into it. Too many crap games out there because everyone wants to innovate. Its like the wheel, if its not broken, please don't fix it.
i do not buy the game yet so, one thing i hope about this game lu bu should be strong af like its almost impossible to beat him and he can kill you in let's say two shots. but the dev, gave the player another option which is a detour or he is only active in one small area, so we don't have to beat him if we do beat him we got his weapon or armor or horse which is one of the best things in the game. but idk i'm not playing it yet its just i'm so excited because of how this game adds the dynasty warrior theme and its a long time ago i played dynasty warrior, i just love the game as it is one of my childhood games. :)
I've beat every FromSoft game several times. I couldn't beat the first boss - what an epic fail for a game. See me in a week when it gets patched to be easier.
the camera in this game is horrible and pc performance is bad and so far after playing for like 10 hours the game certainly isnt worth 70 euro but as I thankfully have it free on game pass I can kind of tolerate the worst camera I have ever seen. The combat is really fun though so far and the whole com bat system is interesting enough also so far even with that catastrophic camera it has the one more try on the boss sort of appeal of a souls like game so that is kinda carrying the experience of having to play on low on strong PC and that irritating camera.
I enjoy the game but I feel like a lot of the bosses are badly designed. In a game that wants you to utilize multiple tools and mechanics it feels pointless when the boss just attack spams. The fights just end up being about constant parrying. I should also note the loot in this game is horrible compare to the Nioh games
@@neptineauras6879 to clarify I've picked up a ton of loot that is garbage compared to what I currently have equipped. At least in Nioh i would occasionally find a stronger weapon or armor to replace mine.
Waiting a few months for them to fix PCs trash performance. So sad it’s 2023 and spirit gauge is in nioh so no it’s not new. This game looks like they took nioh 2 and turned it into a PS2 game. Same faces, same audio sounds. Only thing that’s different is the morale and flag system
terrible game for me, played all Dark Souls, Sekiro and Nioh series and this game kept crashing crashed like 6 times and I said nope refund, graphics is also worse the Nioh 2 which is the same company that created this game or publisher idk
Nioh 2 was how long ago now? And this game is absolutely dogshit in comparison to it. Severely limited builds, very little variety, and the key to winning is just parrying/deflecting and taking chunks out of the boss's hp. Glad I didn't pay for it, thanks Gamepass.
I don't think team ninja will evolve to have better graphics but they will always have really good fluid combat but nioh 2 was 3 years ago which is not really that long between the games since we had stranger of paradise last year

I hope I can enjoy this game as much as I enjoy wild hearts :D
I am sure to enjoy it. Wild hearts was a bit slow motion nightmare due to bad optimization but I still managed to enjoy it. I enjoyed Nioh combat and Sekiro combat and I see them both in this game.
If u enjoyed wild heart you’ll definitely enjoy this its way better
Im really enjoying Wo Long
Dude you said it best thank you for acknowledging that there is no better deal this year than this game on GamePass.
Give demo a try and see(be warned, first boss can be challenging)
Yes, I had a really rough time with parries in Sekiro and Bloodborne and never bothered with it in Elden ring but its way easier in this game. You'll definitely be able to get the hang of it.
@@BrentCox2B Well this is promising - your reply and others. Thanks!
Timing window for crit hits seemed small and those are the ones that kill you
Amazing combat WTF
It was just release and people are already finished. I know you got it early but damn.😂 I’m only at the second battlefield I forgot what’s it called.
You can try it now for 1 euro/dollar on the Game pass for a month
I just want Tenchu and Splinter Cell.
Tenchu and Tenchu 2 are AMAZING!
Lu bu is probably the hardest boss. Took me and my brother alot of tries, and we've played every souls game lol
@@Cheekbeater in this game?
If yess heck yeah i'll love this even before i bought this game lol
@@sadjester800 oh hell yeah, I think we ended up fighting him 32 times?
1h Till Release and I must go work now :-(
I've beat every FromSoft game several times. I couldn't beat the first boss - what an epic fail for a game. See me in a week when it gets patched to be easier.
just be good at parrying and sekiro is easy once you get the parry mechanic cause thats pretty much the whole game
How long the main story is, no side guest only main story?
Not enough data from real gamers yet, but most stuff I found online says it will take 40 hours on average
Your save carries over from the demo also
Dude, what a great video ..10/10 on all points
the camera in this game is horrible and pc performance is bad and so far after playing for like 10 hours the game certainly isnt worth 70 euro but as I thankfully have it free on game pass I can kind of tolerate the worst camera I have ever seen. The combat is really fun though so far and the whole com bat system is interesting enough also so far even with that catastrophic camera it has the one more try on the boss sort of appeal of a souls like game so that is kinda carrying the experience of having to play on low on strong PC and that irritating camera.
Do people even enjoy games anymore or do they just speed run through it??
The first bawwssss has me annoyed. Almost there though
"Brutally honest"
The first boss made me delete the game.
This game is hard as hell I can’t get past first boss fight even got mc to level 11 it’s hard challenge
Brutally honest=Click Bait
I enjoy the game but I feel like a lot of the bosses are badly designed. In a game that wants you to utilize multiple tools and mechanics it feels pointless when the boss just attack spams. The fights just end up being about constant parrying. I should also note the loot in this game is horrible compare to the Nioh games
what do you mean? the loot in this game is exactly the same as the nioh games
@@neptineauras6879 to clarify I've picked up a ton of loot that is garbage compared to what I currently have equipped. At least in Nioh i would occasionally find a stronger weapon or armor to replace mine.
@@Jamal-wk6fy are we talking about nioh 2 or nioh cause the loot in nioh 2 is worse than this
This is one of the few games I would really consider a Souls-Like cause it’s good, like Souls.
I hate wolfs in any video game. They are just annoyingness
Is there only one NG+???? That would be a huge downer to me after the ultra long endgame in Nioh 2.
There is NG+
Nioh 2 also only had one NG+ at release.
Nioh 2 has 3 dlcs low bro
Nioh 2 had only one ng+ the rest comes with the dlcs
How do you get the zuo ci armor
Omg i literally said to my friends that it was like sekiro.. bloodborne and nioh
How do I get the armour in the thumbnail?
What armor is he wearing in the thumbnail
Can’t decide between this or Wild Hearts
Wild Hearts has a lot of technical issues, I'd wait until it's more optimized. Wo Long has a lot less when it comes to technical issues.
its on game pass and it scratches that souls like itch plus the combat mechanics are interesting. However it kinda looks like a ps3 game
Waiting a few months for them to fix PCs trash performance. So sad it’s 2023 and spirit gauge is in nioh so no it’s not new. This game looks like they took nioh 2 and turned it into a PS2 game. Same faces, same audio sounds. Only thing that’s different is the morale and flag system
terrible game for me, played all Dark Souls, Sekiro and Nioh series and this game kept crashing
crashed like 6 times and I said nope refund, graphics is also worse the Nioh 2 which is the same company that created this game or publisher idk
You did not platinum after 50 hrs so let’s stop that
is there coop ??
WhT transfers from the demo?
Does it have same stamina crap as nioh? If so ill pass
Why I can’t play this game on Xbox game pass
Join gamepass
It's just recycled content from different games meshed together with bad graphics
Nioh 2 was how long ago now? And this game is absolutely dogshit in comparison to it. Severely limited builds, very little variety, and the key to winning is just parrying/deflecting and taking chunks out of the boss's hp. Glad I didn't pay for it, thanks Gamepass.
I don't think team ninja will evolve to have better graphics but they will always have really good fluid combat but nioh 2 was 3 years ago which is not really that long between the games since we had stranger of paradise last year
I’ll buy it on sale 😂
i think its too hard for normal gamers or not very good lol.
Story is lame, characters are lame, enemies are all the same, level design is very bad, graphics are like from 2007 game... no imagination or creativity used in art style, combat is not great either. This is the worst soul like game I ever played...
Quit on the first boss 💀reason why I don’t play soul type games I’ll leave the raging to ya
Finally... A review from someone who gets it. Games like this are meant to be broken and min maxed. Thats why they give you so many options.
This game is boring as hell. Couldn’t get past the first enemy this game felt so boring
Why do you sound like DarkHero 2?
