Do your rears bottom out on the bump stops??? starting to think mine are blown. I use #4 click from stiffest setting, if I use 8 like you they would hit the stops too easy. Thanks for the video!
@@ericlim8906 Yes, I keep it at 4 stiffness, and it still will bottom out. Sure go stiffest setting may help a bit more but it's too stiff for daily use IMO, and it will still bottom out at stiffest setting. The travel of the shock is too small in the rears, fronts are perfect. I don't daily this any more so I got over it. Good luck with the 8, its amazing car, I got an electric car for commuter reasons (gas), the RX8 is the best / fun car to drive for it $ by far!
mitch harper thanks for the prompt reply! I have been using it for 2 years plus now, but no workshops seems to know the problem, so it seems like a common problem for FlexZ to bottom out..
So Jpanda, my 2004 Mazda rx8 is having hesitation with high rpm. It’ll sit at 7500 for a sec, and then jump to 8500, and then maybe, MAYBE make it to 9000. Unless it’s in neutral then it makes it to the fuel cutoff fine. Any idea what this could be? Help please !!!
mine is having similar issues, it could be a LOT of problems, so u will have to look at it 1 by 1... first is always to check if ur ignition components are in healthy check; next up would be to check your MAF; you can also do a 20-brake-stomp and reset the fuel trims, drive it around for a week or 2, see if it still happens; it could quite literally be fuel cutoff due to fuel pump, who knows, maybe an injector? It could also be a valve getting stuck (the SSV valve gives codes for being stuck open or shut, however, the APV only gives codes for being stuck open; also, the solenoids that actuate the SSV and VDI valve could be going bad, their resistance might be good enough so the ECU doesn't give you a code, but they might be failing)... last but not least, it could be compression related, get a compression test done to know for sure
In school right now, new video? teacher, May I go to the bathroom?
Could you share your Teins setup? They are adjustable as far as i know. How stiff\soft u made them?
Cool video as always. Keep up the good work.
Is this the kid that explains the difference dimensions?

If you have bottom out so easily, stop lowering your car too much or reduce speed when the road is not good. I have no problem with bottoming out
Got some on the way for 04 tsx

its possible that it could be a clogged cat. Its the thing that is overlooked often but a problem these cars have
