i never realized just how much i can relate to this song until i read the lyrics for myself. *this* actually describes what anxiety and paranoia GENUINELY feels like
One of the best bands ever. The musical style and arrangement is complex and energetic. Play it loud and it's like a rush of sensory stimulation. No drugs required.
They've been dismissed for many years (decades?) now as "one of those old '90s pop-punk bands", but the Offspring have truly fantastic music to their name. Massive groove and energy!
I have Depression and Anxiety and this is how I feel in my anxious moods when I'm agitated, insomniac, and trying to catch up on things that I lost in my depressed stage.
I'm right there with you, Julie. Life can suck at times, especially 2020. 90s music takes me back to my happiest moments!! I wish I could re-live dancing and singing at bars, rock concerts & house parties, not changing a thing. Plenty of other moments I would like to go back and change. Other moments I try to forget. I hope you find something that makes your life better.
QUOTE : ". . . and trying to catch up on th8ngs that I loat in my depressed stage". YOU NAILED IT SIS'! That's exactely the problem. Not the fact of having been sick, per se, bit all the regret for all that I lost and all that i haven't done. And i'm sure that it's never too late, but fact is, even tho i'm gonna do what I didn't, back in the day, i will regret forever what I haven't done between my 20s n 30s. It hurts so bad and i cannot sleep until late night. It hurts a lot. FUCK NWO!
I can relate to this from recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction. One of the main things is we gotta get out of ourselves and realize that we don't get to call the shots
I can tell I'm particularly anxious and miserable when this song is listened to, that being said you could do a lot worse for a relatable song that's unbelievably underrated, even amongst an underrated band's discography.
I haven't listened to this song in forever and I knew most of the lyrics but to see them all and realize how great the song is and explain how people can feel when they are manic is amazing. I've been listening to this band since they came out and they still are really great
Right on man. Indeed the first time I heard this song fall season last year, I was hooked and kept playing repeat on my new fav from Offspring. Stay strong and jam on. Drug addiction is a bitch lol
This song is definitely about either drugs or mental illness, to me; I can kind of relate... (Having matured & developed more perspective on my difficulties, I can relate to this song 99%!!!!!!! I’ve had my experiences & demons to conquer, never give up!!!!! Often ones’ perspective is tainted & disconnected from reality- there will always be problems in life, but it’s easy to ignore that life can often be quite wondrous- I’m certainly not excluded from these things………….)
This is All Mine. Some Bitch took over the housing unit & hired some Moron ex-convict maintenance guy who likes to follow my woman & I around to piss us off, to get us in trouble with the law, or to try to get us to move. The Bastard got an unjustified 4 year restraining order against me, & false violations that recently got dismissed. He followed her into a bank, then showed up over here the next day about a live trapped skunk that had already been released. Then a week later he pops up on her near a soda machine. The Cops kiss the housing authorities ass way too tight.....This guy is getting notifications when we leave our place, & when we leave the nearby Walmart. The Cops will have none of it. Anything goes with that restraining order BS!!!!
Listening for you, Allison Leigh Furrier. I try to be okay that you're not here because you are in a better place, but I hear certain songs, and I recall your laugh and then I process the thoughts of the trauma you had o endure at such a young age.You were so strong, Ally. I infinitely love you. ❤️
Reminds me of HB in the 90s, surfing skating and house parties … and of course volcom warehouse parties with half pipes and all you can drink kegs for $5.
Past 2 years of my life finally broke me 4 months ago paying for it now come on insanity love the band though seen them in grand prairie they were amazing in concert
I lived like this in my early 20s. Meds, counseling & going back to college took it all away. I still get anxious at times, and I am always depressed. I don't let anyone know; I cover it pretty easy. Plus it makes a huge difference to interact with others. Loneliness is the greatest contributor to depression.
I thin this song is about what you feel after doing Maulli at a giant party.... i mean the chorus describes it so well..... and i've done X many of times and all the things he's talin about in the chorus/verse are exactly the feelings you get on it.... even with that this song is sooo amazing!!!!
i never realized just how much i can relate to this song until i read the lyrics for myself. *this* actually describes what anxiety and paranoia GENUINELY feels like

+Islanders91rul e I think he means the nirvana song
One of the most under rated bands of all time!!
I can relate to this from recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction. One of the main things is we gotta get out of ourselves and realize that we don't get to call the shots
I love The Offspring”
They are hilarious and so relatable
1994......not a bad year for music...
1994 was the most awesome time for sure
+Buckwheat McCoolio the year Bieber was born
Yeah it was, Kurt Cobain died that year.
+Dylan Hutto fuck Kurt Cobain. Took the cowards way out.
Fuck you, you didn't know his life, you idiot!
I just rediscovered this classic three weeks ago. I never knew how much I was missing out.
Offspring at their best. Dexter's vocals at max flat awesome, and Noodle's sick guitar!
I like the older music then what they call music now in 2020..
When my sons ask me what it was like the first time I smoked pot. Well I tell them to listen to this song. Sums it up well.
Bought this CD when I was 19...this song still has the same effect on me. Best Offspring song ever!!
" All time Classic "
I'm paranoid of people and it's starting to show.
I can tell I'm particularly anxious and miserable when this song is listened to, that being said you could do a lot worse for a relatable song that's unbelievably underrated, even amongst an underrated band's discography.

Just heard this song today, and it instantly became one of my favorites from The Offspring.
Right on man. Indeed the first time I heard this song fall season last year, I was hooked and kept playing repeat on my new fav from Offspring.
Stay strong and jam on. Drug addiction is a bitch lol
I'm 40 and this is still my fucking jam 🎸
Ooooh, that's a stiff shot of classic punk rock at its finest.
I think its:
1. Bad habit
2. Gotta get away
3. The kids arnt alright
4. Self Esteem
5. Keep em seperated
:D
10 people doesn't deserve to live! How could you dislike that best song? You gotta don't have ears to dislike that track.
I was never a really big fan of the offspring but lately i've been listening to them more and I LOVE them
1. The Kids Aren't allright
2. The Meaning of Live
3. Self Esteem
4. Bad Habbit
5. Million Miles Away
Nah, we need to revive the punk era period......

This sounds like a great song to listen when riding a dirt bike when it's 80° out on a sunny day.
This song is not the easiest song to sing.....BUT I LOVE IT!
I thin this song is about what you feel after doing Maulli at a giant party.... i mean the chorus describes it so well..... and i've done X many of times and all the things he's talin about in the chorus/verse are exactly the feelings you get on it.... even with that this song is sooo amazing!!!!
