I don't think the FIA were ever against using a second safety car.. But I guess most companies were okay with them using the Merc. I'm sure if anyone else was interested they'd also consider it
@@monxx15 considering how many of the teams in f1 actually are car brands, it’d be cool if they actually made it that they all had their own safety car, like in Italy they use Ferrari’s or Alfa’s, Britain they use mclaren or the Aston Martin, for France use Renault or I think alpine has their own car, in Japan use a Honda
