Michael once said: "study the greats, and become greater", but honestly, I don't think anyone will ever be greater than Michael Jackson, I mean seriously I just can't see it, he was such a talented performer, singer, songwriter, producer, he had the style I mean he had it all!
I really love your videos Seph ❤ 5:31 that part that he sang differently is actually the backing vocals like the adlib he did on the Thriller album version on the last chorus, only here he added more grit to his voice like it's more raspy and he sang faster than he did on the record ;) now the adlibs at 5:44 are not on the album version and he came up with them while singing live, I love the way he sings it 😍
his golden "swim suit" was actually inspired by fencing athletes. his designer said it reminded mj of a very royal sport that was played in castles and it is demanding precision, beauty, technique, quickness, royalty....
something that always cracks me up here - as you recall, this is right after the Working Day and Night - and you saw how they went crazy... and here he is, singing like there is nothing to it, and you can hear his background singers sruggle to catch their breaths still - i can't help but laugh... this here is a proof that him using play back later one was because he had no choice
Damn like how come this man was super chill polite reserved quiet and shy and then he goes on stage and turns into a super confident beast lol I know it was all he knew but it's still amazing to see, it's like he really had 2 personalities!
That's true, I guess being on stage since 5 it became the only place familiar to him and he got used to it and performing and singing was basically his only way to express himself, so he was able to let himself loose and get into the music, he knew the stage and how to command it, almost automatically, it's different when he's on different settings or environment, no wonder he often said he felt most comfortable on stage than anywhere else and that he could die on stage, but that contrast is certainly interesting!
NIce reaction to a good song Seph! Check out Beat It - 'live' by Cliff Richard in November 2018, Michael knew Sir Cliff was a fan from Janet Jackson telling him (while Michael was one of the backing singers on Janet's album 'Dream Street' in 1984) and was aware that Janet and her record company had chosen Sir Cliff to duet with her on the album with the song 'Two To The Power Of Love'. A great duet! For a 78 year old Rock/Pop star (at the time) Cliff has a great lead guitarist on his 'live' version of 'Beat It', and sings a great lead vocal!😀♥
Heads Up: after this song and before the next (in the next video), there will be an instrumental interlude played by the band in the stadium as the camera pans the audience. the song is called "Someone Put Your Hand Out". Michael recorded it 1991-1992 but it didn't make the Dangerous album. the entire song was available for purchase at the Dangerous Tour concerts on cassette tape. i loved the melody since 1992 but didn't hear the actual song until the 2004 Ultimate Collection album was released. it is a great song about Michael needing love and acceptance both romantically and socially. all those years of me enjoying that melody, i said that Michael should have done something with that sound. turns out he did all along.
"I thought he was going to take all that off for a minute. I thought, 'whoa, what kind of show is this man? They ain't paid enough for that!" (4:00) I love that you subtitled the final bit of what you said. Almost as if you were anticipating me asking you what you said! 😉 "I have never seen that move before. I tell you what that reminds me of. Fencing! Definitely! That is a fencing stance." (5:56) I agree, but it's ironic that he waited until now, when he is no longer wearing the golden thong/fencing top, to deploy this move. Btw, I still am very curious to get your take on that bit of his wardrobe. OMG, he's doing that iconic, and somewhat ridiculous, dance move from the "Beat It" video! (7:42) I love it!
@@SephPlays It made clear to me that Michael surrounded himself with "yes men." That had to be the case, because someone close should have pulled him aside and said, "I know you like it, but that golden fencing thong makes you look ridiculous at best and creepy at worst. And you already are getting enough grief from all the false accusations. You don't need this as well." Words likely never said.
That was very observant. Michael was a massive bruce lee fan. Bruce took the fencing footwork and incorporated it into his jeet kune do. Many people many not appreciate this being a fan of both michael and Bruce, they both took from various sources to create their unique arts and added essential what was thier own.
he was a BEAST on stage!!! Machoooo ...hahhahah...yes he comes close...to that camera ...feels like you are right in front of him...amazing footage...that was Jeniffer Batten....she deserves much more appreciation....she toured with him on 3 tours...for TII she was exchanged with Orianthi and i found her ...especially in the rehearsals so lame compared to Jenniffer ...MJ tried to tickle it out of her many times: its your time to shine...but she stands there and puts on no show at all...Jenniffer was a great stage presence....Orianthi was very very young and i know some love her and she got loads of recognition just bc she rehearsed with MJ but for me she cannot beat Jenniffer and i met Jenniffer after MJs passing ...i think she was pretty sad she was not invited for the TII gig...so i feel loyal to her somehow.
I don't know if you know, the show in Bucharest took place on October 1, 1992 and was broadcast live to more than 60 countries, which makes it even more legendary. 🙌🏻👑
also this Bucharest concert is not only one city, it is a mix of few shows from 1992. I personally prefer Oslo show from 1992 (more energetic dancing, Bad and The way you make me feel in setlist). And to fulfil "The Dangerous Tour Experience" i can suggest Buenos Aires 1993 show (added Dangerous song, excluded few others, different dancing energy and the sound).

3:25 The cameraman tapping his feet to the rhythm. He's feeling it too!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You would have to be dead inside not to feel it ha x it’s mjjjjjjj
Haha that's true! Can't even imagine being there omg
Michael was a huge Bruce Lee fan that’s why he done that move he always payed homage to everybody he looked up to

Not only this performance, but this entire Michael concert is legendary. 🙌🏻👑🕺🏻🔥👏🏻🤩❤️
The guitarist is Jennifer Batten she was on Michael Jackson Bad tour Dangerous and history tour.
The one and Only Michael Jackson . The king, The best
Another 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥reaction Seph. Love your excitement and your smile I can’t help but smile along with you❤❤
It's infectious, isn't it! :)
@@jillturner8680 yes it is😊
MJ doing rock with the attitude and moves.. OMG. HOT HOT HOT! Oh yes, he was also a black belt.... loving the Bruce Lee flavour!!! Loved this, Seph!!!
very energetic song with live performances really enjoyed
Best live Beat It performance of all time, Michael here is perfect energetic and his dance steps are perfect. 🙌🏻👑🕺🏻🤩❤️

The next song, the performance is simply legendary and beautiful, alive Will You Be There. 🙌🏻😥🤩❤️
When he sings live he always improvises or adds something new to the lyrics.

Loved this!! His vocals were great! ❤ your excitment is so contagious! Thank you for bringing me joy 😍
Please react to Michael's Give In To Me music video, be sure to watch it, it features Slash and it is simply legendary, magnificent, fantastic. 🙏🏻🤩
Guitar solo by the amazing Jennifer Batten 🤩🎸🔥
Mike was a black belt
In karate ❤
Jennifer Batten also has youtube channel where she talked about her experience with MJ. She learned this Beat It solo for her audition for BAD Tour
My favorite Beat It performance of all time, Michael is at his best here. 🙌🏻👑🔥🕺🏻🤩👏🏻❤️

One of his worst costume choices was that fencing *Thing* 🤺 It was the reason why i never spoke about it haha

Pretty much the only outfit i've actually completely disliked him wearing up to this point haha So YEP you are most probably right!!! hahaha
@@balovettthere were no false allegations in 1992.
@@marcusscarterr33 Making those words even less likely!
I love how he sings this song in this concert! And, you’re right they did not pay enough to see him strip! There’s just not enough cash for that 😂
Looking forward to the next reactions, long live the King of Pop. 🙌🏻👑🕺🏻❤️
You watch dangerous tour rehearsals
Yes, they are a masterpiece. I think Michael Jackson's rehearsals are better that many concerts of some artists today 😅
yeah i agree too. watching Mj rehearse is so good as well
I also love “one day in Your life”
Mj ❤
seph before you move on to the history era please react to the rehearsal's from the dangerous era

Michael hab blabk belt. He loved Bruce Lee. He was in contact with his wife and daughter, he wanted to find what was Bruce like, his motivation, etc.
