Awesome reaction! Great job identifying that the slow down in the interlude/solo is part of the story telling as well. Look forward to seeing more reactions 🤘
I have watched several reaction videos to this song (one of my favorites by my favorite band) and you guys are the first I have seen grasp the meaning of the song on the first listen.
There is an all female band (3 sisters) from Mexico who sing in English and they have a song about addiction too. It's from their first LP and was written by the drummer Paulina (Pau) who wrote that song at 13 yo. It's called "Black Holes (Don't Hold On)". Their band name is The Warning. Highly recommended.
Very dope reaction boys, looking into how it would make you feel, the lyrics, not just listening to the music, but feeling what it wants you to feel 10/10 y’all are doing it right
Some years back, they did this thing where when you bought a ticket to a show, it directed you to a site where you got to vote for the songs you wanted them to play (17 or 18 slots). For I think every stop on the tour, this song came in at #1 most voted for, and the song “one” always came in at #2
Metallica songs - "One" "Welcome Home Sanitarium" "Whom The Bell Tolls" "Nothing Else Matters" "Battery" "Disposable Heroes" "Fight Fire with Fire" "Damage Inc" "The Unforgiven" Add all that to the list.
More! More black Sabbath, more Metallica, led Zeppelin and so many more masterpieces. I would recommend doing whole album reviews. Btw saw your black Sabbath video. That's how this kind of music started. They're like the sugarhill gang of metal. Metallica is the evolution. Like where the music went in the 80s. This wasn't the best song to start with but good reaction.
Awesome reaction! see Rage Against the Machine recommended a few comments down, I agree with that comment. Something off they first album. Wake up or bombtrack or "Take the Power Back" or "Bullet in the Head". NOT NOT Killing in the Name its to repetitive,
Great job with your reaction to The Song from the Album's title Master Of Puppets . But if you really want to hear & Do a reaction to the greatest song on the Album do Welcome Home Sanitarium .
More Metallica! You guys were great! Best in a long time. Fun to hear it from your perspective. 😂 They sang a song from the bible in Moscow, Russia in 1991 in front of a total of 1.6 million people. Historical. Search Creeping Death Moscow 1991
@@OriginalMiztiki Thanks brother for the kind words! We will have to check it out! We’re just starting out and we’d appreciate it if you could smash that subscribe button!!
The first melodic solo is the user being high and the harder one comes in with them needing a fix. It is said that Hatfield wrote this after being at a party and seeing a bunch of people doing heavy drugs.
Maybe re-examine vaping...given the spot on interpretation of this song by both of you. Well done, but you gotta drop that chemical stuff you are inhaling.
Its a weird thing because it is an anti-drug song but it's important to note Metallic did drugs for there first four or five albums including this one. You're not supposed to say anything positive about drugs nowadays but alot artists did seem to be most creative while under the influence. Not telling anyone do them because of that but that's what i noticed. Also im not saying you cant be creative without them but it might be harder to tap into.
Interesting contradiction! There's something to be said about the connection between musicians and drugs but the musicians these days usually don't talk about the effects on the mind the way these old rock bands do.
Metal is great, a lot of great bands. Look forward to you checking out rock tho. Especially southern rock. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman brothers band, Marshall tucker band, ZZ Top, Molly hatchet, the outlaws. All great bands with epic songs
