This is great, thankyou.I have wondered how to stain an instrument with lighter binding and purfling . Stain seems to bleed under the tape when it is taped off.

A question: I bought a Martin HD28 two years ago. A black spot 7-8 centimeters has appeared on the soundboard top where I rest my arm. Normal ? Glad for an answer! Kind regards Peters Övik Sweden

Great video, Jeff. The secret is how much, or little you sand out the first application. You can use the same amount of stain, but sand for effect. Thanks, Jeff.
