- I didn't film every little part of the build but hopefully I got the important stuff! There are many ways to build a guitar, this is just the way I do it. Maybe some of you can take some of my ideas and try them yourselves. I am always looking for methods to make the process easier and more consistent.
Thanks for watching and please like, subscribe and drop a comment!
Wow, for a second I thought that was “The Tree” Mahogany back/sides… very impressive. Bravo! 👏🏻
I watch a lot of food videos, and not gonna lie, the figuring on the sapele made it look like a doner kebab rotisserie as I was scrolling 😂
Loved the build! Beautiful instrument!!
My oldest, dearest friend builds guitars. He made me a double 00 quilted sappele with a mahogany top. I just put new strings on it yesterday. It's one of my favorites! You do beautiful work!, thank you!🎸
Beautiful build! Looks fantastic.
Stunning !!
Beautiful guitar!!
It looks like the twin to one I built for a client! Love the look of Quilted Sapele
incredible build ❤
Sir, you don´t build guitars - you create wonders!
Beautiful Background playing 😊😊😊
Beautiful guitar!
'Tennessee Waltz' sound great on that guitar.
Beautiful guitar 👍👍
That sapele is like fireworks!
I'm also a software developer and a long-time woodworker. I referred to your videos CONSTANTLY when building my split-top Ruobo. I wish you good luck with the channel.
Beautiful Guitar 🎸you created a beautiful guitar that someone will enjoy for along time. your skill of craftsmanship is impressive, I know there is alot time and plans that go into building a Guitar 🎸 you did a excellent job, THANKS for taking the time to share in building of this Guitar!
Beautiful guitar, Will! My wife's uncle Ray speaks highly of his, and it sounds great. Good job!
Nicely done !
Beautiful!
As a couple of others have pointed out, please get some push sticks, one of those machines will bite you eventually, and they always win.
Also, if you take a little time to set your bandsaw up properly, with a sharp blade, and set the amount of exposed blade appropriately for the job at hand, you’ll find it a lot more accurate and reliable.
Yep
Man thats alot of work
Felicitaciones, usted es todo un artista.
Amazing!
again at 11:47. You have a cavalier attitude towards your tablesaw but I promise it is more callous than you are…
Great video!
I've been very impressed with the sapele guitars that I've played. I played a Charis with cedar/sapele at Carter Vintage and it blew me away...
wow like the way you rout the rozet, nice thingamajig
Don't go technical on me!
The word is rosette. Thank you. Your friendly UA-cam word police
You tape a pre-shaped binding on, then saturate it with super-glue, then do another, and the glue seeps down and glues the binding to the routed slot? That's wild! Most folks glue and then tape! Are you pleased with the results? It's much faster!
Very pretty
Stunning wood choice. Excellent build
What a beauty of guitar
Great video and build. I would love to know where you got the rosette drilling tool?
Super nice wood pattern. Have you thought to make your template out of acrylic so you can see it when you mark out your cuts? Just curious. Beautiful work!
Looks great and sounds great. Do you build OM and 000’s as well?
that guitar deserves an inlay!
Great
Красивая вещь и играет красиво! ❤
please get yourself a push stick
I’ll think about it lol
Yes please think about it. 3 fingers doesn’t look good on anyone’s hands.
You'd have to change your guitar technique. @@RickFaris
Indeed! I only use the table saw with the fretsaw blade on a sled that’s fully safe minus a possibly .050 deep cut for the fretboard. My braces and such are cut on the bandsaw just to avoid the possible danger to picking fingers. It can happen in an instant on almost any power tool
Did you make the rosette cutter? If not where can you get one of those?
Magick
Beautiful job! Where can one see your work / purchase your guitars?

Que violão lindo! Gostaria que fosse meu!
Just curious as to what you are squeegeeing on the back. Is that finish or grain filler?
Hi, can I ask you where you got your name stamp. The one you heat up?
Would have enjoyed hearing the final results 😢
It was playing the whole time.
A beautiful guitar, but can you tell me if i am right by saying the bass note is giving off a buzz in the recording?
Yes! Thank you! I thought it might have just been my reduced hearing but my ears didn’t deceive me. I heard it too. I’m not sure if that’s because of the player’s technique or fingering or if it was something to do with the guitar itself.
Parts of the recording did sound a mite fuzzy. Wasn’t the guitar
I see you use CA glue to attach the binding. How do you prevent it from sealing the wood and staining the surrounding area? Thank you.
What I have done as an amateur following the advice of others is seal the guitar before routing the binding channel and then seal the routed binding channel before placing the binding and wicking in CA glue.
I have never had any issues with ca glue staining the wood. It sands right out for me. I may choke on those words in the future but so far so good without sealing.
Thank you, I wanted to know that very thing!
I like the looks of this guitar. You make many like this one?
I made an om out of the same wood a while back
He must, he has jigs for nearly each step-sized up for just this job! Remarkable and impressive! Makes me feel like a real shlep in comparison!
Ive been using table saws all my life and im old I have seen and have had a LOT of stuff happen that almost cost me my hands. PLEASE use a push stick man !!!!!!!!!!
Like!
Tablesaw with your bare hand, man's crazy. It's important to teach safety first, people will imitate this and some will get seriously injured.
Is it for sale?
Absolutely love the build, but you reaching for that off cut on the table saw @11:45 made me gasp. Please be safer so your hands can keep on making fantastic instruments!
Beautiful 😍😍guitar, can you open this guitar price?
Where did you get the rosette cutter from, looks great.
A machinist named Marty Howard. He’s made cutters for Wayne Henderson and a handful of others. It’s a dandy little tool.
What is going on with that back center seam. Hate it!
Price?
Даже не пытайтесь. Испортите зря древесину и себе настроение

Last thing on my mind.
I know I can't afford it, but I'd give this baby a very nice, loving home.

Faltou o som, era o principal
No trustrod?
Yes it has two way truss rod
He doesn't trust them.
Does it, or does it actually have two non-adjustable carbon-fiber strips? Don't look like truss rods. But then I have truss issues. @@byrdguitars2000
Beautiful, but you did't finish the job. Final touch-play.
You never put a short piece of wood through a table saw on the rip fence. If it cocks even a little it will shoot out in any direction and could cause damage to the wood and the blade, send a flying piece of wood at you and with you fingers right there they could be pushed into the blade. This is the most dangerous/stupid thing I have seen in a long time.
You also need a new bandsaw blade and you need to adjust the guides so they are close to the wood.
That’s a fine guitar you made, be much harder to make one with fewer fingers/hands.
Dreadnoughts were heavily armored battleships built prior to WW1, used in colonial conquests and wars. You may as well call your guitar Imperial Racist Murder Weapon
music sucks
