All these RF's are good actually almost Everything RF makes is Really Good for most of us. The 5.25 and 6x9 are so clear and loud also Kicker is pretty good 2nd choice But for Budget speakers I always loved Pioneer or Kenwood.

I replaced the speakers rear ones of corolla 2014 ( CSC693) but I feel that the sound is lower or equal than the old ones! why? or i need to put an amp
you need an amp, there is no way that stock deck will do what you need.
Going to install these in my 06 Subaru forester, can I just replace them like plug in play or will I need to do anything to the car. I have an aftermarket head unit with a built in amp that hits 40 w rms in both the front and rear door speakers. I figure I can just pop the old ones out and the new ones in will this work?
Ik I’m late but yes this will work I did the same with my car unless you care a lot about audio like me then connect them to an amp but they sound good with just a aftermarket radio !

So right now I drive a 2005 GMC Sierra with the stock Bose speakers in it, and when I get a new truck hopefully in the next year or so I want to save money and get a lower trim model and then just upgrade the speakers to achieve the same result for cheaper. So out of any Kicker speakers, because I can get a good deal on them, have the best sound quality? And would that sound quality match or exceed the quality of the Bose in my current truck, just to get an idea of what kind of quality I'm getting myself into. Thanks.
If you can get a deal on them, the QS series is best. Then the KS is second best
Well, not trying to brag, but through a GM employee discount, Kicker offers 65% off of everything they sell, no limits. So, I think I could build a pretty nice system for cheap. I wish I lived closer to a Best buy or something though to hear them on the demo stands, I'm an hour away one way to any Best Buy, or any place that'd carry them lol.

I'm trying to have voice clarity.which one is better kicker or fb drive or jl audio coaxial?
So I have a 2003 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport with the clapped-out factory speakers still in the car. The front ones are actually good, but the rear 4" speakers blew out fairly easily. Me being cheap, I went and bought a pair of 4" Scosche 4-ways, and honestly, they sound WORSE! I'm thinking of upgrading once again, to the kickers, but if the factory speaker was 4", really how big can I go without drilling any bigger holes? I'm not looking at fitting 6x9s in, a 5.25" will do just fine!
That's a tricky situation! Nothing bigger than 4" will fit in the factory opening unless you either cut the existing opening, or create spacer adapter plates to raise up the speakers to fit int he hole

Again, with me being cheap, as long as the holes in the door panel and tabs on the speaker line up, if I need to shim it say, 1/2", could I just stack washers and use a longer bolt (but same thread size and count) to mount it? If not, I could make little adaptors out of aluminum for it.
You're definitely going to want to make adapters, you really need to have the entire circumference of the speaker sealed and mounted to the hole.

I would just get speakers then by themselves, the whole point of component sets is that they come with tweeters and crossovers
You can, yes. But the speakers aren't designed to output the high frequencies, they're designed with the crossover on kind to distribute the correct frequency to the correct driver.
You WILL get the complete frequency range being sent to the woofer if you don't use the crossover, but it will sound much worse.
what about the 10x4"s?

Socomnick if your speakers are behind door panels with built in grills then yes! You do not have to use the grills that come with them but you can if you want to. 😎

KS is the next line up from CS. It goes:
1. QS
2. KS
3. CS
4. DS
So, over the KS and CS, which one has better sound quality? I want to get me a set of components but I am not sure which ones got the better crisp clear highs.
The KS line has overall better sound quality. The CS line is louder, more bass.

Louder doesn't necessarily mean clearer. I would get the KS for clarity on the highs and mids, CS for the bass. With the KS your highs and mids will be better, vocals will be smooth and more accurate
