nice video. mate, two hints, first tighten the screws F1 and F2 of the FPV COn so that the stick for throttle will not go back to middel by it self. second if you want to go straight up and down with the Motion Con use the thumb stick to go up down or left and right.
I entirely agree ...i have been trying both the rc and the motion for a few months now. I expected that, after many years of rc flying with the sticks, I'd prefer it. But no, i like the motion controller best! You CAN go vertically up or down with it by utilising the "joystick". Not sure if I'll ever want to fly manual, but I'll hang on to the rc controller in case I do. When I first started with quadcopters, about 16 years ago, it was all "manual" I think that now, I like to let modern technology take the strain. Mind you...I really do like flying with head tracker on
@shaunthedrone you're welcome Shaun and thanks for your posts which I do enjoy. You have a nice, good humoured approach to the hobby. Only time will tell if I suddenly get the urge to go manual, but at 76 I'd better hope it's soon...😉
As an older flyer myself , I find flying the Avata 2 with the RC 3 gives far more control than using the motion controller, just remember the Avata banks on turning, be gentle on the sticks , I’ve only flown the Avata2 a few times due to poor English weather, it’s a great drone that I would recommend , you can adjust the stick sensitivity in settings., regards
Thank you Shaun, you have to bind all 3 together (goggles, controller & drone ) to work but you can have the goggles off your eyes. Many thanks for your support
On my video with the Mini 4 Pro there is a problem with the gimbal on the return only, it's a problem that DJI will sort out. Many thanks for watching Richard.
@shaunthedrone I haven't used rocket before but when we being such a bunch of professionals. We take it to the bank to see what happens. An by golly it did just what they said it did. Well I guess we'll see if dji got an app for that. Hope you an family r well. Keep on flying my friend
