This is the one I saw on PBS when it first came out 😊😊😊 . I was country, when country wasn't cool. 😊

Charlie today wouldn't be invited to Austin City Limits. Too Conservative, Too Christian, Too Patriotic. TY Charlie Daniels. RIP🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸2024

I was so excited to find this 1981 performance by the Charlie Daniels Band. The band was on fire, and the energy level was amazing. You can tell the audience was having a blast, too. The performance was originally aired on PBS as the first episode of Season 6 of Austin City Limits. Unfortunately, this version is missing some parts because CMT cut them out to make room for commercials. Even so, it’s definitely worth watching if you’re a Charlie Daniels fan.👍

When I tried to upload the full PBS version, it got blocked but somehow this edited CMT version made it.

I'm looking for the 1976 Austin City Limits performance by the Charlie Daniels Band from Season 1. I know this is a long shot, but I'm a huge fan and would love to see it. The version I'm looking for includes the soundcheck at the beginning and closing credits with a shot of the empty stage.👍
