This is one Nitrous V6 Mustang that I just can't get enough of. With every bolt on under the sun, and a perfectly tuned and installed nitrous system and WOT box, this thing never gets boring to watch.
Big thanks to Dave for letting us see the car. Soon he's hoping to have the motor built up with a full turbo system, and of course, more nitrous. Stay tuned to see more from this TB Built and MPT Tuned beast.

The race against that hell cat? Wth? With full bult ons the 3.7 hung in there that well? I know the Challenger is a boat by still. If the hellcat was trying and the 3.7 stuck in there that well then mad props.

I love these 3.7’s but I hate the way they all sound except fit the 2912 I had. I had magnaflow 40 series on mine. They didn’t have any of that raspy sound they just kept their quiet low rumble.

I have a 98 gt but bought a 11 3.7 premium cause I got a great deal and was basically brand new been trying to decided between spray or pro charging spray would be pretty damn cost effective looking at those numbers

They hold up extremely well. TB Built has their 3.7 right now with over 100,000 miles and was sprayed a 150 shot every weekend if the summer, and is now on a 225 shot. These motors love nitrous
What is your knowledge on the 3.7's handling boost? Im looking to run around 8psi of boost on E85. This is my daily driver so reliability will always be a concern.
+TSS Race 8-9 psi is the max safe point on stock internals. After that it will still hold the power 10-11 psi but you run a high risk of something giving out. Buddy of mine just blew his 3.7 cranking up the boost over 11 a couple weeks ago.
It wasn't that red twin turbo 3.7, was it? What is the weak link in the engines? Ive heard it was the piston head/rings...

Old post but if you look at hp to weight, the hellcat puts 620hp of its over 700hp to the wheels and this car was pushing 450hp to the wheels. Taking into account the big weight difference the Challenger has a hp/wt ratio of .134 while the Mustang is at .133 hp per lb making them almost identical power wise. The rest comes down to gearing and drivers.
@@thespeedyviking9682 also the challenger was probably making more torque but he could have dusted that challenger if he had the amr turbo kit pushing 600wheel

300-310 at the wheels is common on these cars usually with those mods.
@@3SevenStangVids not really I have a 14 mustang with MagnaFlow catalytic converter system flowmaster tips no mufflers and a 93 tune. Prior to all that I was still getting 305 to the wheel. Now getting 350..
