Excellent video and story telling. I own a 2021 plated for the street in Colorado. Killer bike, dependable as hell, controllable power with a wicked mid range punch. Let's not forget the world class suspension and a monster front brake.

Yes,its different than mx track..those 🌳 are be watching 👀..wrong corner slide and you endedup hugging one of them..like to see the deep blue purplish in race mode..I have The 450 same model but for lazy trails rides..thank ironman for this one,proud.. 💙

Hey @Ariemann1 and Addo that was awesome work! It's cool to see stock bikes killing it, because basically it comes down to the rider. As a trail hack nothing is more fun than riding with mates and improving - riding longer, harder trails, getting quicker, smoother etc. So on that note, a lot of us would love to see what you and the pros focus on in corners, jumps, tricky sections. It all looks easy on video until we try it at home...

He raced the same series last year on his CR with faster partners and never placed lol there's more to a successful race package than just a "off its tits" engine 😅😅

I’m from Canada now when you say dead stock the 250 dose it have to competition ECU and ccu or the detuned version Canada and the USA gets also the exaust dose it have the gytr race baffle cause it don’t sound like mine did when I first bought my 2023 I had to remove a bunch of stuff that chocked it up for emissions reasons .
I want a WR...who knows when a guy can actually buy one?

Awesome video as usual before watching this video I seen an ad about the parabolic steering damper I'm just wondering if anyone notices before the install they reved the bike higher and after the install the bike was tested at lower revs I know the dampers work but would the higher revs emphasise the rear end movement? I would think so

I own a 300 2t (and a 500 4t) and have ridden quite a few 250f’s (new yamahas andKTMs) and they all bored me. I’d rather own a 125 2t than any 250f. To me they just feel slow, dull and loud. I’ve enjoyed 300 4t (Sherco ) and the KTM 350 though. The extra CC’s made a big difference in my opinion.
@@brianh8484 stock 300 2t are dull and boring to be honest. No excitment there .
So if you are never going to race and riding on a 100 acre property with the odd forest ride the 250 would be better? More range, more manageable power?

I’m curious how the 250F is holding up and what the differences have been in terms of engine maintenance between the 250 and the 450… I’m looking to get a yz250FX but I’m concerned that it will be too much constant maintenance. I mainly ride tight singles at a quick pace, knowing that high rpm and air filters ruin motors
Do the WR250F’s hold up well and how is the reliability
Done a thousand kilometres on my WR been to a motocross track three 3 or 4 times bouncing off the rev limiter.
Yamaha have been doing the 13,000 rpm 250 4 stroke for 20 years they were first with it,
They do have food wraps on them.!
I’ve decided to buy the 2022 yz250FX.
I’ve put money down on an order.
I can’t wait to get it 👍🏼

Nice Job... We went to one in Japan in the late 90s. Last day 500 bikes on 5 mile track. very hectic... was 4 hrs lonf 2 days.

Mad how can those engines take all that punishment without blowing up as they r riding flat out for 4 hours I had to do a full engine rebuild on my yamaha yz 125 on average every 9 hours
if your doing a full rebuild every 9 hours your doing something wrong😬

@@theinternet4236 It was every other race weekend I race Saturday 2 race and again Sunday I also used the same bike for practice to so my bike took a punishment plus it was only a small engine a 125 2 Stoke
