My little guy and I have watched you for a few years now. He started watching while riding a wooden rocker bike in the living room and then to a strider and now on a PW50. He's a huge fan of the protege series. We love the videos! Cheers from the states!
Excellent interpretation of how dirt bikes/racing fills an important void in our world today. What you showed was resiliency, and that is what so many people lack today.
Kind of gets me emotional lol, I once dedicated my life to dirt bikes I worked my ass off just to make sure I had one and wether I was out blasting with the boys or pushing myself to the fullest and riding till I’m numb from head to toe competing in an event or even just having a bike sitting in the shed I would never feel complete. Thank you Adam for your videos and putting it into picture and words of what every man or woman who has fallen so deep into this sport/hobby feels. 👍👍
Hey bud I lost both legs 3 years ago yesterday. I still ride dirt bikes im organising to compete for the first time. People ask me why all the time, now I can show em this video. I was electrocuted by 19,000 volts 3 times at work i was pretty messed up from it but the only thing that pushed me was wanting to ride again. And hell I ride! Enjoy ya life mate we never know when it'll end.
I'm 44 I've just got back into them after about a 10 year break and I'll ride till they put me in a box in the ground the clock never stops ticking. Growing old is inevitable growing up is a option. BUY A BIKE !!!
Shelby Adkins I’m 42 just bought a cherry 🍒 2016 Suzuki GSX-S1000 had 2800 miles on it and even more importantly it had been kept in a climate controlled garage and old dude sure never road it hard! Chicken strips was wider then the wear patch 😂! Breaks was still 80% chain everything looks mint! I hopped on it rode it 13 hours back down south from almost Michigan down I-75 90mph! Hadn’t touched a bike in years but I still got the touch!
Hah ... do it!!! .... I did. My mate got me out for a trail ride after not riding since my late teens ... instantly hooked .. went out and purchased a crf250 the next day ... then a cr250 a few months later as a project. Loving it.
I’m 62 and still going well not as fast as I was when I was younger but in my mind the older I get the faster I was ha ha I’ll ride or race as long as I don’t make a fool of myself, I’m having a blast just wish I would have taken care of my body alittle better
Best vid in a long time. Almost outdid yourself Adam. Cinematic AF! I almost cried as I lay in bed already longing to ride after just being hospitalized for five days with seven broken bones and a collapsed lung last week. My emotions mixed. Half fear and rationalization of why I shouldn't be riding at 40 years old, the other half tears of loss of something for a while that I love so much, and the idea that stopping doing what I love even crossed my mind. I guess my video would have been called "The Battle Within!" Outsiders just don't understand... not sure I do either. Thanks Adam 🤙
A S Humphrey not saying it’s old, just saying I’m at point in my life where sometimes when things like these injuries happen, it makes you think if your priorities are really in check. Like maybe I should be investing more money instead of spending a crapload on dirtbikes and paying the rest out in medical bills? Of course this is crazy talk, usually reinforced by people who don’t ride. Riding makes us feel alive. Shouldn’t the point of living be to feel alive? My main riding partner is the same exact age as you. I started coaching him when the COVID lockdown started. He’s made worlds of improvement and is having fun like a kid! It gives me a lot of pleasure seeing him happy and enthusiastic to learn and improve. I know some days his body probably isn’t into it. On top of that, he still works hard physical labor part time and keeps real busy with physical things the rest of the time. No reason to believe I won’t, but I truly hope I still have the enthusiasm of you and him when I’m your age to do the thing I’ve loved almost my entire life. Ride on ✊
A S Humphrey I’m 58,and after not throwing a leg over a dirt bike for 10 years I have a new FE501 in the shed and I love it.A lot slower and a little wiser perhaps .... Anyway , went riding a few weeks ago , no offs...Then fell over on a wet deck in the back yard and tore ligaments in my ankle. If u gonna get hurt , may as well do it doing something u love .
Wayne’s World 🤣🤷🏼♂️ While my recent injuries did come from a motorcycle crash, it was kind of stupid one. I describe it as the equivalent of stepping on some spilled shampoo in the bottom of the shower, slipping and breaking the scapula, clavicle, five ribs, and puncturing a lung on the edge of the tub. Just one of those “WTF just happened?” moments 🤣 Those FE501 & 500EXCs are stellar machines. Nearly bought one... twice 🤣 Just got back into riding on accident the tail end of 2018 after stopping in 2004, mostly due to finances. Just sold my 350EXC & 250SX (2T) and got the Freeride Electric and a 250XC-F. I have a 690 for my big enduro which also acts as my tow vehicle 😋 ua-cam.com/video/Ls2jiKII_So/v-deo.html
A S Humphrey well, I'm probably with them on the 300 thing, but that's no bash on the 500 and everyone has their own riding style. I'd probably have a Rekluse on a 500.The older I get more the grunty 4-stroke power favors me. At least on the track or similar terrain. I HATE admitting that, but I also hate engine braking! I'm personally struggling with the 4T engine. Being able to pull a gear taller on the 500 helps reduce my complaints 🤣 I love the 250F. Kind of the best of both worlds. Snappy 14k RPMs and less engine braking. 40-ish HP is kind of the sweet spot for me. If KTM still had a 200XC, specifically a counterbalanced/TPI version I'd be on it faster than flies on stink! Honestly, electric is superior to both. Massive smooth torque and basically no engine braking. Handling is amazeballs! Sooooo looking forward to electric bike advancements! Once battery life reaches 1hr at race paces / 50-60 mile range on trails and a top speed up to 60mph, I just don't see myself owning a gas bike anymore. Especially since they're unaffected at altitude. Current technology is exactly half that range, so I'm guessing I'll still own a gas bike for another 5 years. ✊
Very nicely done, the filming ,the racing, the way you tell the story and the whole construction of your videos, thank you for your content, greetings from Romania, cheers mate
Five years ago, someone says Australia, Pro Surfing and Nicole Kidman would come to mind, now it is dirtbikes and when is new ARiemann1 video coming up?
Subscribed from Alberta, Canada. Lots of bush to ride in around here but the passion the Aussies have for the sport is unmatched. Adam still rides like a champ, he carries so much speed into corners, you can tell he's still better than most riders out there. Keep the awesome videos coming!
Fantastic as always! I miss riding bikes so much, but a back injury means a wheelchair now. But your videos allow me to vicariously enjoy the thrill of a bucking dirt bike again. Thank you! Steve UK 🇬🇧
Your timing is impeccable Mr Riemann. As I sit here at 47yro nursing my first broken bones from an unscheduled excursion thru the bush. 5th gear pinned and the only thing I hit was the ground, very lucky. Trying to explain why I am soo upset at missing the rest of the riding season to my friends is difficult, they just dont get it. They have never ridden so I guess they cant really. I'll share this vid with them to help them understand. I just want to go for another ride thru that same section and kick its arse. Love your work.
Dude, love how deep you get about life while giving an escape / expression from life and of life... Love your videos! Proud of you for staying in it! 💪
Just pure epicness! As I write this, i'm drinking my morning coffee and after that I'll get on the bike with the Mrs and circumnavigate our country (Romania) cca 4000km. With this f-ed up situation, i'm glad we can still do this. Stay Safe and thank you for the motivation!!! Cheers!!!
Ay, Adam, you should come to Namibia, Southern-Africa. It’s beautiful here. It’d be a amazing adventure to ride the Namibian coast. Maybe stop here at Swakopmund and ride the dunes.
Excellent Vid! Just turned 57, ride single track slow and steady. Can’t wait to get back in the mountains. Healing up after an encounter with the rocks on a steep downhill section. Love you videos sir. Keep it up.
Been watching your clips for some time now Adam. Always look forward to the next installment. I usually watch with my little 3 year old. He loves your vids especially the protégés one and is owning his little OSET 12.5R. Keep that camera rolling! 🤙🏽 Portland, Victoria
Your videos are so well put together, everytime I watch i feel a burning motivation to get out and ride with an intensity thats probably too fast for my pace haha
I am currently stuck at Home with a snappeped tibia and cracked acl joint. It was my 3rd ride Back on the bike after Covid hit. Yeah It sucks ,I’m mending again and it is my 4th Injury thats put my body up for months of recovery. But I’m ok with it . I’ll be back on the bike soon , sure it’s painful and people keep telling me to stop. But like the adrenaline addict I am , I won’t stop until I am unable to swing a leg over and let it rip. Adam mate your videos are a continued inspiration and a great re watch when I’m out like this! Can’t wait for more vids!
Adam your videos never disappoint and offer rider point of views and the sport like no one else can. Keep up the awesome work and always looking forward to your next vid. Cheers!
Love these vids. the cinematography, editing, soundtrack and narrations all make for top quality viewing pleasure. your vids get me choked up because i feel motivated and inspired and stoked to go out and ride after i watch everytime. Much love, from Canada
Thanks Adam, that was a great vid, brought back some memories to the point of going out in the shed and rummaging around in the dust collectors. My last pony express race was in 2000. Where has 20 years gone?
Great to see you ringing the neck outta that CR250. Used to race the 1994 Jeremy McGrath special back in the day. That Honda had a top end no other bike could get close to😛. God damn hard suspension though 😅😅
Awesome video Adam! Congrats! Young or Old, whatever... The passion is the always same and most important thing, thats matter. Sorry my poor English.... Im a hungarian AR1 fan 👏✌️
What amazing ridding. My son and i are doing our own journey and started filming some of our trios over Scotland. Maybe one day we will be as good as these guys. 👌
Bought a dirt bike at 65 years old. Rode a lot back in the today. Trail riding mostly now. Even did road racing a couple years ago. But the mind and concentration wasn't up to par for going 170 mph. So gave that up. Thinking about trying a Hare Scramble next month. You're never too old as long as your mind and body are able.
I might be racing the JEDS series in a month, so it is good to see a preview of the blood, sweat and tears put into racing enduro. Looking forward to getting out there and finally racing.
You’re a hell of a rider. Content and production quality is so good on this channel. 52 now and I wonder how I’d do in the woods on a proper dirt bike at my age. I do miss it and I’m about to try it on my scrambler 1200 which weighs more than twice what my last 2 stroke 250 weighed. Gonna be a challenge, a slow one at that. Keep putting out these great videos please!
Ole willie still spreading his love. I was racing over there at collie, harvey, brookton etc etc when he was still racing. This one looked like brookton terrain. Plenty of harvey natural terrains aswell thrown in. I used to do ironman in the up to 200 2 stroke class. Miss that area for enduros and ponys.
Mate your a bloody champion. Your determination and love for riding is awesome. I'm goanna compete in next year's finke. Ill be riding on 2 prosthetic legs. Mate if you can do it so can I. Ill see you on the track someday. Your a bloody inspiration and a half.
Wow I miss racing. Am an average rider at best. Last race I did was awesome. Over a 44km lap I was only 2mins 38 seconds slower than the 3 rider in the country. Never pushed so hard before. Knew it was my last race. And made it my best race ever
for 10 minutes i forgot about this head fuck situation the world is in , thanks Adam another premium upload , hope your mate is ok & not badly injured …Cheers
I been riding and watching videos for years but i haven't found not body who put the vids toguether like you do exelent rider and excellent filming we loks back yards videos on our litle channels.congrats
Hey Adam. I'm Mark Roberts. I held Steve Moritz's head for a hr and a half helping the medic. I believe he fractured c2. Was wondering how he's going? Unfortunately I done even worse the next morning on the big creek jump. Helicopter out. Four contusions to heart. Torn rotor cuff Fractured c1 c2 c3 c4 c5 & c7 and looks like another one at t6. Have to see surgeon about fusing a few up. I agree the track was testing and maybe a lil more brutal than I gave it credit for. I loved the film and commentary. Good job! Say hey to Steve for me plz. I wish him a speedy recovery.
Holy shit Mark, we were wondering where you were as Riley wanted to say thanks for looking after his dad. Hang in there mate, I'll inbox you Steve's details.
Hi Mark Steve"s wife here , We have been trying to find out who the amazing person was that helped Steve at the track was . Steve could be in a very different place with without your expert care. You must have some training as you were amazing and We can not thank you enough for stopping your Prologue and taking care of him . We would love to come see you and it is now time for us to help you in any way we can. Sounds like you will be out of action for some time. I believe our very good friend shared your helicopter ride back to Perth . Track brutal claiming many experienced riders. Could you please private message me on face book .Riding and racing is something we all love and as Adam said becomes part of who you are. Best wishes and speedy recovery Kym ,Steve, Tyler and Riley Mouritz x
I don't know how long I will be able to ride, but I'm 40 and I can ride like when I was 30, and my dad was 64 last time we went riding, and he kept up with me just fine. We were riding very difficult, rocky, steep terrain in Randle, Wa. We both ride XR400's.
I love this guys take on the high quality moto film stuff but I can’t help but feel that sometimes his edits end with no ending. Would’ve loved to know how you finished and if your buddy came out of the hospital ok. Anyway big fan. Thank you for what you do
This man has a way of putting into words and images the feelings and meaning of what it is to be a dirt bike rider.
I couldn't have said it better, I totally agree!
Amen to that!
ahh yes the feeling of riding bikes un explainable
My little guy and I have watched you for a few years now. He started watching while riding a wooden rocker bike in the living room and then to a strider and now on a PW50. He's a huge fan of the protege series. We love the videos! Cheers from the states!
Kind of same story with my 6yo daughter :-)

Excellent interpretation of how dirt bikes/racing fills an important void in our world today. What you showed was resiliency, and that is what so many people lack today.

Good on you 👍. I'm just getting back into dirt riding at a couple of months before my 49th birthday. The feeling never leaves you.

one year behind you, riding and occasional social enduro events. Feel the same as you.
The first couple of minutes are spot on, I'm not a racer , just an older enduro hack and that feeling is here. Great vid champ👍
Thanks for representing the 2-Strokes and keeping them alive 💪💪

Been a road rider my whole life, rode a mates wr450 2 weeks ago on a Friday and went off road, i owned his bike on Tuesday. What a thrill
Brilliant video, great perspective of the racing way. And on how well all get hooked and cannot let go.
Awesome video! Simply inspiring. Im envisioning the process and the resources needed to create a dirt track for my community already. Thank You Sir!!

Dude, love how deep you get about life while giving an escape / expression from life and of life... Love your videos! Proud of you for staying in it! 💪
It seems easy to put feelings into words, untill you actually need to do it! Awesome job!
Thanks Adam, Me and my mate love watching this at anytime. Always in the mood for a bit of
ARiemann1!!!! Can't wait to see the next one!
You are a great speaker and storyteller, oh ya, and a damn good rider.
Cheers!!!

2 Stoke is the only way to go on a Dirtbike and there is nothing like the sound under you!!! 👍👍👍😎
Another top notch Motology film. Fantastic editing and camerawork man... very impressive stuff
Man, I swear your edits are better than some movies. Insane!!💪
Amazing ....ive just got myself a ktm 350 first bike since I used to race 20years ago as a kid .....and it gave me goosebumps this video

Very good, and very poetic. Mate you're absolutely right.
Awesome video, if your up for it, do another 12 hour. Recently just watched your 12 hour video and it was great.
Never feel more alive than when trying to open up a 300 2T for more than a few seconds at a time....Better than drugs....
Great vid!
Tremendous video, really captures being a dirt bike rider!

This is an amazing representation of what moto means to me. Thank you for sharing this
That speech just made me a new rider🤯
Thanks Adam, that was a great vid, brought back some memories to the point of going out in the shed and rummaging around in the dust collectors. My last pony express race was in 2000. Where has 20 years gone?

@@MotologyFilms let Riley know it's all good mate. That's just what being part of the MX family is all about.
Hi Mark
Steve"s wife here , We have been trying to find out who the amazing person was that helped Steve at the track was .
We are old but are alive! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼💪💪💪💪💪👏👏👏👏
I don't know how long I will be able to ride, but I'm 40 and I can ride like when I was 30, and my dad was 64 last time we went riding, and he kept up with me just fine. We were riding very difficult, rocky, steep terrain in Randle, Wa. We both ride XR400's.
Best description of racing words can give
