underrated channel, good takes I don't think convergence difficulty will be so extreme that people will not leach. At least squad commanders can notice that and kick those people in private squads
it used to have hard content back when HoT was the current expansion. But I remember at that time, many poeple complained about things being hard on that map. And they kind of made it a lil easier. Then the other expansions came out and everything was easier when compared to that. And with the new stufff, such as mounts etc. Everything became easier. Now you create a video saying "finally" then later everyone is complaining and they start creating easy stuff again lol.
This games idea of hard content has become giving a boss 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 health and stupid amounts of cheap AOE/Cone attacks. Last "expansion" was terrible. Heart of Thorns still has the only 2 meta's that have enough people show up to do them 24/7, each and every single time and you can go 4+ hours without seeing a meta done in any of the new zones. Thats pretty damn sad. Even worse, they are doing what in this expansion? Dungeons, a thing few players do in this game and...a raid instead of a strike. What is more popular in this game? Strikes... Its almost as if they WANT to make things for players of a different game.
@@Harlequinlynnette As in the game takes none anymore. Last thing this game had that required skills were the dungeons and most of them became cake once you decked out with top gear. Large quantities of health and stupid amounts of AOEs does not make a boss require skill to take down. It just takes time which is why few want to do the newer meta events. They are just boring and not worth the effort because even the rewards are lower than older content rewards which take less time.
True that was the only perfect expansion they created. I love the mounts from PoF, but the best expansion was HoT, but I also remember people who used to complain about it being too hard. I wish they took their time to create expansions as they used to instead of release once per year. Ps: I think they should release a new dungeon in every expansion. They should keep updating what they have, as they do with fractals, releasing new fractals with every expansion, they should alwasy create new raids, dungeons etc. Because this game started with dungeons and many people used to love them. The reason why people forgot about them is because it has been ages since they released anything new.
@@joshuaSand3rs HoT had complaints early on because the meta events were vastly different than core game, it took about 2 months after its release for people to figure out and actually stop having issues working together on Octovine and it became the staple meta so many still do today. With this expansion, they are not "hard". They are "long". They were easy to figure out. The complaints are about the bosses health and total time it takes to complete it. I mean, unlocking the wizards tower is insane. There are 3 events leading up to it, the first is about 5 minutes, the second can take upwards of 15 depending on if people spread out to the 4 spots on the map only to end up back at the start for another 5ish minutes to get the final part going which can take a good 15 minutes to finish due to the flipping bosses having such high health. 30 minute meta, and you ge tlike 6 loot chests. Octovine = 15 minutes with a full map, 28 chests. 29 if you count the one in the first room if you have the unlock to open it. I actually wonder if Anet hired some people from WoW when they started to make End of Dragons because they flipping upped the time required to do things by a large margin and that expansion also is not as popular in terms of people doing the events.
