Cool video. Already knew how to break into all of these objectives shown in the video but it's always fun to see some other ways of breaking in. There's also another way of doing it which doesn't require teleport skill and can be done with any class. It allows you to get into objectives like O'del Academy, Alpine BL NE tower, Quentin Lake, SM inner, Crankshaft Depot, Mendon's Gap, Durios Gulch. If I remember correctly it should work for even Klovan Gully, Wildcreek Run and Anzalias Pass and many other objectives already shown in this video. But yeah it really sucks that Anet hasn't done anything to try and fix them even after all these years and people keep abusing them heavily.

in red lake on green border you can enter with weaver leap or any tp, you enter with the mount and then you use the mount to get where you jump with the staff, then you target a npc from the tower up and while you jump out of the platform in the air you use the leap and you get on the top of the tower :)
This just further prove my point that teleportation in this game needs to be looked at and reworked. And jump as well although this is relatively more easy to fix

@@majinpvegeta I don't think spectral return would enable any skips since that skill seems to go back to the exact position (regardless of range or "valid path") and can be activated at any time, unlike thief sword 2. Thief sword 2 cannot be activated in freefall and won't teleport back to the original location if there's no "valid path," but will still activate and teleport you along the best approximation of the "valid path" from your current position to the set point. My theory for why this works with thief sword 2: Since you can buffer thief sword 2's return to activate just as you jump, it's being tricked to create a "closest valid path" based on wherever your mid-air location is read as your location on the terrain--hence the teleports up cliffs and onto higher platforms, because it sees the upper terrain as the point where the "closest valid path" is, albeit blocked from reaching the set point by the wall/cliff that's supposed to keep you out.
However, I do think that the wurm's return skill can probably be used like thief sword 2, but you would rarely see it since it isn't spammable in case you mess up (like thief sword 2).

Some places you can combine jumps from warclaw, leaps from harbinger and even sand portal from scourge where people can jump and take the port in the air to get in as well. I also know sword elementalist can be used as well but you require a target inside.

Never understood the whole process of it and when i'm partially told about it, Anet seems to have "fixed" it though i'm still seeing some negated fall damage (escaping death) every once in a while that makes me wonder how are they now doing this ?!
There is a third party program that allows you to do things in GW2 that are against Anets ToS. No falldmg is one of them. Idk if there are other ways of completely negating falldmg.

Sword 2 > sword 2 again + jump instantly after, so that your second sword 2 animation is done while in the air. You may need to practice the timing a little bit. But it's pretty easy usually.
This jump is not easy, but it is not random. The goal is to cancel the warclaw-skill-1 animation with space spamming. A friend of mine needs 2-3 tries to do this jump, I need a few more. Apparently it's easier, if you flick your cam to the right, while using skill 1. Maybe use actioncam for that.
That's not gonna fix the problem. You can still solo flip the objectives and you can still jump into a LOT of objectives as mesmer. Also there are several other ways of jumping into stuff with other classes than thief, which I didn't show here.

I agree some of the ez ones should be fixed like Stoic Rampart, but several of them are super hard to pull of, and only a skilled player would A be able to learn and do it, B it would take so much time to learn it and do it that usually capping the normal way is faster / way better if you count ppt wise...
None of these jumps need skill. You only need to know how they work and a bit of time to try around. And most of them are very quick - only some staff jumps (mostly into Alpine Garri) can be a bit time consuming. And I completely disagree with you: ALL of these exploits should be fixed!
I think the most reasonable thing to do is just permanently disable thief in WvW

the fact that they added a portal to thief in 2019 while knowing those skips are possible is still a mistery. Unless they don't care.

@@RNDMplayer No, it has something to do with using blueprints to achieve double the jump height.
Most of these would be realatively easy to fix. One is to not have a gap at the top of the gates. Higher walls and cliffs would be another.

2:40 this is just random. The Game doesnt let u launch from warclaw so its random if u get launched. Tried this 100x and it only worked 2x
