- Settlement Survival mini Tutorial Let's Play UA-cam series where I show some of the content and game mechanics of Settlement Survival. Settlement Survival is a survival city building game that is slated to come out later this month. I start a new settlement on the hardest difficulty and explain the core game mechanics as I play. I received the game for free, gifted by Gleamer Studio, the developer of Settlement Survival.

Timberborn is also quite fun!
Great video. I was getting beat up on Hard even having a good experience with Banished. When you think the food is going to be enough for a stable pop count, it isn't. 😂

This game is literraly TOWNSMEN! and I love it. Been playing townsmen since 2005. on a Nokia N70.

If you zoom in to the 'new seed' gather point, you can mark the plant (only that one plant) for gather and a worker will walk across the map for it. Its good to have those seed choices at the very start of the game. No gather hut needed.

u dont need a gathering station for collecting seeds.. u can send ur free worker to gather plants. cheers.. would love to see more content
Yup, it just helps to have gathering stations that overlap seed points.

I enjoyed the vid. This, Zomboid, and state of decay are probably my favorite series so far. Don't get me wrong tho. The Rimworld ones are good too. Love the content as always. Great to help relax after a long day of work since I don't have time to play anymore.

The one thing that irritates me about games like this is when you have to go to school in order to get an education. There are lots of different types of educations and a lot of them you don't even need to go to school. Fishing for instance, doesn't need to be taught in a school house. That can be taught by other fishermen. They really need to expand on what an "education" actually is.

I don't think it'll actually be a problem, but I meant for the clinic to be facing west so I can always change that before its completed =]
Very nice choice Rhad, looks like a winner. Do you ever get to a point where you have to defend yourself or have the option to raid neighbors for resources or is this strictly peaceful colony building>? More of this either way, thanks
I am not sure, maybe that's planned for development but as far as I know it does not exist yet.

There's a lot of features that Banished doesn't have.. but sure, it is indeed quite similar too.
I remember you playing this but has it changed? I can't tell since last time you played on Christmas Town (Perma winter it seemed like)
