After over a year in early access, Settlement Survival is finally being released! In this game, you lead a band of settlers as they found a new home in the wilderness, managing limited resources and developing trades necessary for their survival. This looks as if Banished and Kingdoms and Castles had a child together 🤩
It's extremely similar to Kingdoms and Castles. It's that much that I thought it was from the same company, but nope... it's weird for me, Idk.
in my humble opinion, this looks way better than Kingdom and Castles. But KnC has combat and this is not.. which is unfortunate for me. I love City Building mixed with RTS.

I've been playing this game on and off during Early Access. Glad to see the official release upon us. Closest to Banished (with Colonial Charter mod even) from the survival games I've tried. Plus with QoLs that make the game more streamlined.

This is one of my favorite comfort games, been playing it for a long time now.
so glad they simplified the production chain / technology tree... it used to be such a pain to unlock a certain building/item

This game was harder then i imagined, my first real attempt failed.. .. tought i had plenty of food production but i defently had not!!. dang. I expand more slowly next attempt :) lovly graphic ... feel very pro made this game.. good feeling playing it-.

I've been looking for a Video that'll help me understand the game so I can decide to buy it or not. The pace you were playing and explaining the game was very comfortable; some videos are very slow or too fast-paced. Keep up the way you make these vids 👍😁.
It's not pretty, and that was part of the charm of banished. I doubt anything will truly replace banished in my heart.
while I understand why realism is secondary on that matter it still is a bit strange to have a watermill working on a lake that has no water intake/outtake by a river.
More so when we have games such as Timberborn that requires you to think that way.
Natural ground water spring maybe?
@@BatteredWing still I think it would be hard to make the wheel turn through the water pressure because in a lake even with an undergrund water influx the water would just equally move towards the shore but you would need to direct it straight onto the wheels plates and I don't think there would be enough movement energy directed into one direction in a lake.

Would be interesting to have some terrain commands, so you could have built out the fishing dock optimally.
There is a terrain modification option you can unlock in one of the tech trees.
not gonna lie, the first video of Settlement Survival that I watched is from Let's Game It Out, which pretty exciting to do! and this video is taking me to the right path

Oh have you heard of Townsmen before? Is just like that but for mobile. Yeah it's pretty similar esp building houses to get more people to work for you

the game seems good but i wish the art style was a little more realistic
Good day comments section. I am looking for advice. I played management sims here and there, and I have enjoyed PATRON and Frostpunk to death. Is this a game on the same vein as the above two games? The pixel blocky graphics is keeping me away but if gameplay is similar to patron i think i can tolerate the visual style.
